Apparently more away players sustain injuries at the Amex than any other ground in the Championship. Thinking back to past seasons as well, Buckley and his hamstrings come to mind, I wonder if the club shouldn't be thinking about relaying the pitch in the Summer. It's always been known it's a firm one but I am beginning to wonder if there's more to it. Would the size be playing its part too, not sure but something needs to be done. I don't believe it's the medical staff as Helger is highly thought of and respected not just in this country but across Europe and the post match warm downs, ice baths and all that is a world away from Withdean and yet we sustained nowhere near the amount of injuries. The players are constantly monitored and looked after to an incredibly high standard so for me it has to be the pitch!

Either our pitch, or training facilities, or medical team must be to blame. That or we have got some seriously bad karma going on, maybe Gus has laid down a curse?

I was told that it is the under soil heating piping is too near the surface and should have been sunken lower . It will need for the pitch to be lifted and another layer of turf or soil laid and then the pitch relaid on top.

There needs to be an investigation as to how all these injuries are occurring. It's far too much of a coincidence, i'd start by looking at their training regime and how much they're going through on a day-to-day basis. This is not good.

Or its more about what the Newport players said after their win in the cup.The Brighton team is full of over paid unfit drunks. The fact TK tweeted after the Bolton game,"See you all in town, let the party start." Just about prove what a bunch of vile freeloading drunks they really are.

True for the likes of Orlandi, Lua Lua and Agustien. But Bridcutt, Ulloa and CMS have rarely got injured throughout their careers.
Ulloa and CMS are broken bones, well at least they were in CMS' case, so surely they don't count.

Who's job is it to tell OG about the injuries?
Now there's a job I wouldn't want.

Its the lack of communication that gets me. With some other clubs, you get fairly clear information..." so and so will be back in light training in 3 weeks...." so and so will be ready in 4 weeks " etc etc.
With us its left to the fans to speculate all the time. There should be a weekly injury list bulletin from the club. Just an update with general info..." CMS is expected to resume light training in two to three weeks time "...." Liam Bridcutt and Andrea Orlandi are expected to be back in first team contention in 3 weeks time."
It seems they only release player injury info when pressed for an answer.

I think they are going to add a column on the scouts data base for how many long term injuries a player has had. so the risk of signing sick notes should reduce in the future,

CMS has an ankle injury but where did it say it was a broken bone?
