There needs to be an investigation as to how all these injuries are occurring. It's far too much of a coincidence, i'd start by looking at their training regime and how much they're going through on a day-to-day basis. This is not good.

Always bad news to lose one of your biggest creative dangers... Why does this keep happening to the best players and not the average ones?!

Something has to be wrong somewhere. Is it the doctor, medical team, training pitch, Amex pitch, coaching staff putting players through too vigorous exercise or just bad luck? Starting to think it's not the latter.

100% this!! Something seriously wrong with this doctor/medical team!
CMS still on crutches and will be a long long time before he is anywhere near match fit, April would be my guess judging by current progress. Leo, who knows? Again doubt it will be before Xmas.
Someone high up must see that there is a problem!!

The same doctor who was the team doctor for Omega-Pharma Quick-Step in the Tour de France ? He is hardly a Malcolm Stuart when it comes to sports medicine.

Beyond a joke now, what the **** are our medical team doing? Would be nice to actually get an update on when they will be back as well. Cms achillies the longest ever surely I was running again with HHS treatment after 6 month!

He injured his ankle at the end of August which has set him back. Now looking at end of November or beginning of December.

Ulloa broke a bone, how were the medical team meant to guess that would happen. That will take as long as it takes to heal.
CMS was getting back to fitness but broke down (not an irregular occurrence when coming back from a serious injury).
Questioning the medical team when these are not muscular problems but are more ligaments/tendons which can be very difficult to judge as to how long they will take to heal, is a bit of a jump, especially if you take a look at their CVs
We are horribly unlucky at the moment

Ulloa's was a stress fracture caused by over use.

What about Bridcutt? What on earth is going on there?

Not to forget Orlandi, LuaLua and Agustien,

Not to forget Orlandi, LuaLua and Agustien,

a fracture is a break. Not sure where you got the over use from, he said that he though it was because he was compensating after he got injured earlier in the season.

Bridcutt injured his pelvis(?) while trying to get back after his surgery

Lualua is a long standing knee problem that is not getting better and obviously requires treatment.

The other two no idea

Last season, CPFC didn't have many injuries which ultimately meant we could challenge for promotion despite having a pretty small squad compared to the competition. The season before that we had quite a few injuries and ultimately struggled, the same is happening this season to us. When it rains, it pours I suppose.

It's pretty obvious that getting out of The Championship requires a fully fit squad more or less for the whole season which is somewhat uncommon and this appears to be a season when you're not going to get that.

It's fortunate that you already had a fairly big squad, if we'd lost Murray last season to injury, we wouldn't have been able to calll upon other strikers with the ability of Ashley Barnes which to some of you, says a lot I bet.

So let's say the back 5 picks itself. Front 6 for me:

Orlandi; Bridcutt; Agustien; KLL
Ulloa; CMS

Some may put Andrews or Buckley in there, but I think it's fair to say that we now have a credible and strong first team front 6 on a long term injury list. And to think that there are threads about to giving Oscar the boot.

Thought we looked really unfit last few games. Especially against Wednesday..I thought we looked knackered. Wonder if injuries are coming as a result of this

All good/key players for you, but if you played that lot together against a side playing 4-5-1, do you really think that team would compete?

I'd be surprised to see us play 4-2-2. The line up was to illustrate just how unlucky we've been with injuries to 6 of our best players.

Wasn't there some discussions on here last year around the perceived view that the only way could get some of the players like Orlando, Vicente etc, they were recovering from long term injuries an we tried to get them fit and functioning again.

Well I wonder if that has come back to bite us in the bum!
