What? Why?

Eh? And let the players off the hook?

:lolol: What is funny is that you might actually believe that.

Our style of play has been totally dismantled to be re-built. But our best players are injured. Oscar LITERALLY couldn't do much mote at the moment. Had we taken one of what sound like good chances, we'd have won and all would be rosy. But we didn't, and that isn't the end of the world.

Considering our budget for this season was at least equal if not greater than last seasons and we have pretty much spent diddly squat. All we keep hearing is the same old 'FFP' talk, we seem to be the only club in this league who keep using this as a reason for not spending money etc etc.

I don't think Oscar will get the full brunt of the criticism coming but he will get some, which will be harsh in my view. I suspect Barber will get a hell of a lot of stick if we fail to win next Monday.

Really? Best players out injured and players not taking chances. What is he meant to do?

He obviously can't do anything about the injured players but as regards players not taking chances he needs to do his job which presumably is more than just picking the team. If he can't get players like Buckley motivated and goal scoring then frankly he needs to move aside so we can get somebody who can.

13 games 3 wins 5 draws 5 defeats after a team who were comfortably the best side in the league in the second half of last season has to be a cause of serious concern regardless of injuries.

Absolute rubbish, not good enough at all. Time for some serious criticism of the board

Totally right, and I'm going to get the ball rolling...

Who on earth started the match thread? Where's rowley gone? Why did it take until the day was nearly 9 hours old before the official match thread was started?
Why did a mod not edit out the ampersand?
Where are the egg on face doom mongers? All right, Bozza started one for Conway, but what about the rest of the team and the match itself?
And why on earth have we not got notifications back? How long have they been gone and what has our form been like without them?

Are all of our signings playing for free?

If Oscar is turning down loan players who are available, he has to be delivering results.

I just wonder whether OG is'nt just too nice and too laid back.

Or maybe he's just not good enough?

Just not good enough, I said this before the start of the season that one year managing in Israel is no preparation for arguably the toughest and most competitive league in the world, managers that do well are hardened , experienced in the English game.

I wonder whose idea it was to appoint Oscar ?

Is Oscar coaching them to miss sitters then?

If we were not creating chances, you may have a point, but we are - lots.

We are not getting the Oscar dream we were sold to be honest. He seems very unmotivational. Maybe that is the style in Spain but from seeing his interviews and comments he is hardly a Churchillian character. Something different is needed in the English Championship. I wonder what his pre match and half time talks are like ? Anyway it was a HUGE punt from Bloom to appoint him after a season in Israel. Is he out of his depth ?

Bolton a few weeks back?
Players at this level should be motivated to better themselves at all times.

Top post 100% correct. It has no passion like its vile freeloading players. It cost more to watch that rubbish than any other club in the championship, and also more than six pre-league clubs.

Ok we haven't gone mad in the transfer market but I bet we have spent a fair chunk of our budget on wages and add on fees for Upson, Agustiein, Ward, Andrews, Conway and Lita who were all on Prem or top Championship money plus we brought Lopez back on top of that. I also suspect we are holding some money back for the January transfer window plus to offer Ulloa and Bridcutt bigger contracts when other clubs come sniffing. IMHO it would be a greater problem if we lose those two. So adding all that lot up I don't suppose we have much money to spare and certainly not paying silly money. Maybe not as simple as you suggest.
