sad to say i'm afraid , home much longer before the money go round crashes , fair to say that some of the players appalling antics on the pitch are becoming a piss take to the punter , players running around with things written on their vests after scoring , obscene wages , TV coverage dictating everything , seems to me football fans have been brainwashed.............. happy to accept that

Wages? Well if people didn't buy sky they couldn't pay them.
Antics? Well thats always been happening in one form or another.
TV coverage? See above about wages.
Brainwashed punters? Rubbish. Apathetic punters? Possibly. Accepting punters? Yes.
What's the solution? Do nothing. Or do something so what do you do. Stop going, stop buying sky (I'll never have sky) stop watching in a pub?
People who look back and complain are as guilty as everyone else. If you don't like it now you should have done something in 1993.
Sorry, but watching it on sky in the pub is not really different from paying for it at home. You have no right to adopt the moral high ground for that.
Agreed that as far as the money side is concerned, the time to say no has passed, how could anyone forecast the situation we have now?

you looked pissed up tonightyes football is crap these days but i'm defiantly going to millwall for my once a year old school proper piss up with the lads
i'm not odd timbo just an old skool fella who isn't SUCKED INTO THIS MODERN DAY FOOTBALL PRETENCE , i'm not the only one but as i'm probably the only one to voice my opinion on here i can understand your judgementAlthough I think the OP is a bit of a odd one, got to agree with him.
Where's the fun in that tonight? Shit tactics, our own players rolling around like primary school girls, Forests bench behaving like spoilt kids (despite being in their 60's), getting charged a fortune for it, absolutely desperate service from the caterers, being outside the ground and seeing the 1000's of converted 'Brighton' fans not really giving a **** that we've just been turned over without even trying?
Footballs on its arse, I hope all the happy clappys enjoy it.

NOT BAD EH APART FROM THE TYPO , guppy sends his regardsIs that your longest ever post DR?
I agree with most of what you say, but football won't die because the fans are spoon fed that we have the greatest game in the world by vested interests. It's like Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, but with the PL replacing soma for the epsilons.
must admit,it does come to something when I find Real v. Barca nigh on unwatchable, due to all the rolling around
you looked pissed up tonight
