Has this thread got ANYTHING to do with Palace?

please piss off.
To be fair, yes it has. It is only because Sunderland hired this "flamboyant" shithouse clueless tosspot of a manager that his cack club aren't where they belong at the bottom of the league. No wonder the Palace happy clappers won't have a word said against Sunderland.

Your current replacement is doing such a good job though dont you think? Mid table although only after a handful of games and out of the only cup you should have given yourself a chance in

He is doing fantastic, by the way.

Averaging 2 points per game now after the dodgy ( and unlucky ) start.

A really really bold quote.

For me personally, Sunderland is a slum up north with a football club based on factory workers and estates of squalor, with no real history to mention, that thinks it is a big club just because there is nothing else to do up there but watch the footy.

Probably be passing you in the summer, oh, and Poyet and Garcia are both bigger names in the world of football than many of your recent managers.

Roy Keane? Steve Bruce? Both played in one of the "golden eras" for a club whilst at Man U, Niall Quinn played at the world cup for Ireland (more than Garcia who had no full caps and played for Barca 69 times in 6 years) MON again a seasoned international in his playing career and multiple SPL winner of Celtic

I think that you would find there is more to a huge number of Sunderland fans than that. I dont even know how you can start on History - 2 FA cups 6 old First Division wins and 5 runner ups with multiple division 2 including the most points for a time. Also a big thing you have forgotten is that Sunderland have real rivals where as Brighton have some joker relationship with one small London club

One man and his dog don't even bother to watch Blunderland when they drop to the Championship. Total non entity of a club, only the rivalry with Newcastle keeps them in the news.

2004-27120 2005-28821 last 2 years in the championship, last year you had 26212 with one of the biggest catchment areas in the UK with a shiny new stadium

Sunderland will forever draw a bigger manager than Brighton, yet you empoly De Canio, ex Swindon.
Newcastle are crap this year, yet Sunderland are worse with a clown in charge.
You are brave, i will give you that, but unfortunately, like most of the fans of north east clubs, thick, all passion and no substance.
Oh and Sunderland is in my top 5 of the most digusting places i have visited.
But thanks for your comments.

Sorry why am I thick, what do you know about me, passion yes which is something I often failed to see during my recent 2 years as a season ticket holder at Brighton, and there is plenty of substance.

Sunderland is not a bad place at all to visit if you go to the right areas, and anyway I do not live there, far from it

You're thick if you think anyone here should give a toss what you think. The fact is, most football fans think Di Canio is a tool. Are you going to go round all the football forums and get stroppy where anybody has commented on it? Or are we the smallest club with fans who think Di Canio is a looney tune gimp and out of his depth?

In summary, I quite like your club but you seem a total nob.

I have to say Wanky Tom, I was taking your comment seriously until you mentioned Niall Quinn.

I was just making a point as I said above I had a season ticket for the past 2 years at Brighton hence why I am on here, but I think its a bit rich when people are going on about Di Canio when they should look more at home when they had a chance last year to go up and there own manager decided to not even bother! You obviously care about what I say anyway as you replied???

I am loving reading all this from a tin pot club who had some Spanish non-league style day today. Sunderland will forever draw in a bigger manager than Brighton and Di Canio should be given more time but quite possibly in this day and age will not which is a real shame. I would hate to see Pulis but as long as anyone keeps Sunderland I dont care

You obviously have a fair bit of interest in our tin pot club with 500 posts. Didn't you get done the last time you came down here...

I do as I actually like Brighton and they are my local club to where I now live, and I love watching live football so gave that local club some money with season tickets and one off ticket purchases

What sort of cretinous nonsense is this? We are not allowed an opinion on Di Canio or anyone else because we didn't go up last year under Gus? WTF?

You obviously care about what I say anyway as you replied???
Care about what? I was replying to point out to you (on a my team's message board) that I really don't give a sh1t what you think, so your drippy sensitivities were embarrassing you.
