These posts are getting tedious. Some people prefer to watch the football rather than have a sing song, that's really up to them. If you want to have your vocal chords in harmony with all your little buddies, join a choir

You've got to hand it to Palace fans when it comes to noise, They were loud and non stop against Sunderland. The North Stand ought to take some notice, where is the passion? why does it take something 15mins from the end for them to get going, sorry but when it comes to noise and songs etc it's not cutting the mustard. 26,000 fans in there it doesn't sound like it. I enjoyed it more at The Goldstone I'm afraid to say.

What a bloody stupid reply I do get involve despite my age, it's just not me that thinks that, a guy was saying to me today more noise comes from his sons play school than from The North Stand.

Anyone notice how many men in the away end were wearing replica kit?

Might have seen one or two.

The atmosphere was flat today in WSU until the team started playing well.

Good pass/tackle = applause
Extended pressure = roar

Only in rare circumstances do the crowd lift the team, the team have to lift themselves by making the crowd get behind them. It shouldn't be like that, but it is.

I was 95% certain that we wouldn't score today, it was so much like some of the games under Gus where we just attacked and attacked and attacked, but nothing fell right for us, it was so close to being identical today.

maybe you should both move to somewhere else then , stop moaning and get involved .... tell you what stand up next home game let us see who you are and you can conduct the orchestra . I am sure this will be fine with you as you seem to have such a voice on here ..

Have you got a problem with your reading? I said I do get involved, as I said there were others moaning about the same thing and it is true. If you had heard the Palace fans you would realise that we just do not not generate the same atmosphere. Their younger fans jumping up and down singing and chanting, making a hell of a racket.IT DOES NOT HAPPEN HERE.

Palace have a lot more younger fans in their late teens and early 20s, we don't because whilst all of that generation (my generation) were growing up we were at the Withdean. It's people in that age bracket that generally contribute the most to the atmosphere at matches (in my opinion) and it shows at the Amex where I think proportionally we have very few people in that bracket even in the North, compared to Palace and compared to the old north stand.

Well stop moaning and f**k off to selhurst then , and my reading is fine thanks for your concern , and remember to set your sky box so you can sit down and watch Palace again ..As I said before get it going in the north and we can all join in with you ... There is some bloody good lads in the north that really sing their hearts out all game , if you consider it not to be an acceptable level of noise , for yourself then maybe you can come up with us and show us how its done ....come on don't be shy .....we could meet up at reading and get something sorted , just to your liking

So would we be playing and beating a side in the Prem, not struggling against some relgation fodder Championship duffers

I hate to say it but watched Palace game on the telly earlier and even when they were drawing, the scum fans were still getting right behind the team and creating the 12 th man, something we often lack at `fortress Amex`.

I don't think you can criticise fans after that lack lustre first half performance ..it wasnt really inspiring stuff....is it the fans job to get the players going or vice versa? Its an oft asked question ..Millwall fans only really got going after they scored
