There is no doubt Holloway would have been desperate to win that one. Those red Worzels hate Holloway as he is Bristolian but Gas, and for Bumpkin Holloway the feeling is mutual.

Pleased to see Palace are the biggest losers of the latest installment of this spat.

Ah yes. After getting thrashed by us in March he then said th rivalry with BHA was nothing and then referred to Bristol City as the shit or red shit or something in his usual unprofessional way I believe...

It's all very amusing for us, except that we were dumped out of the same competition, at home, by Newport County.

I very much doubt if Palace owners, players or fans really care about this result to be fair. The team selection would suggest I'm correct.

You are correct it's all very amusing for us!:lolol:

What I find amusing is that it may be well into next year when palace finally register a competitive victory!

Or, it may be this weekend. They're at home to Sunderland. If there was any game coming up that offered them a gentle three points without too much skill being required, it's this one.

Ah yes, but we're trying to get promoted and the cups are an unwelcome distraction, whereas Palace will lose virtually every game this season and a little cup run would have lifted spirits.

In other words ours was a good loss.

Bradford got to the final last season AND were promoted, so it is not necessarily a distraction.

Having said that, ALL Palace defeats are cause for

11 changes from Sat and we still cant muster a win!!! it is indeed pants and I'm not holding hope for many wins at home or away unless we buy some defenders, Although I wont panic until mid Nov.
An away win seems ages ago where was that again?

Watford, Wembley.

It's a win-win(-win) for me.

Palace win: massive one in the eye for the biggest CJTC in the Prem, Di Canio.
Draw: No-one comes out of it looking good. Fewer points for the two teams.
Mackem win: Palace will have ballsed up one of their easiest (on paper) games of the season. And then it's Old Trafford.

We lost to Newport County

At home

They're in the premier league

We're not

They're in the premier league for another few months and a spectacular failure this season may well carry downwards momentum into next year, even with the parachutes.

I've got a bizarre and inexplicable feeling that Palace won't lose at Old Trafford. Am I drunk?

And roll on Mr Barton... who has just REJECTED the chance to join Palarse! Thought this was a match made in heaven, apparently Barton's got more sense that I have previously credited him for!

I don't know much about Palace's new players, but is it possible that they are going to have a weaker squad this year than the one that finished 5th in the Championship last year?
