Why would you think that? At the end of the day you boys all mouthed off about how we were going to get thumped all year and so far you have a 100% loss rate including one to a team that was none league 3 months ago. We know we'll lose out on a lot of deals to bigger clubs. That's life amongst the big boys. In the mean time your lot can't even beat minnows.

**** me, Palace have the memory of goldfish..

It's in Holloways interests to come across as dissapointed about transfer acticity isn't it? He's not exactly going to be saying he's 100% happy with the squad and it can stay up.

Of course not. Then he has someone else to point the finger at, Redknapp-style, when they lose regularly.

They have Chamakh, Dobbie and Kevin Phillips, how many top quality strikers do they need?!

With Murray out till Christmas, one more I think. Need two players for every position.

Not surprised we got gazumped (as I said yesterday on here, I've seen thee things fall down all too often) but pleasantly surprised to find we had seriously pursued it this far. Our ambition is clearly a lot higher than I thought.

Still think we'll go down, but it's going to be fun :)

I just don't see the comedy in Palace persuing quality strikers in the £6m bracket all the while we only have one player who can seemingly actually score. In the league below.

Why spend energy laughing at yourself when you can use it laughing at others.

It is not remotely funny that Palace are currently able to afford £6m strikers. Not at all.

What IS funny is that their choice of £6m strikers are Dwight Gayle and Marouanne Chamakh.

It's not a question of choice, is it? It's more a case of what they're left with after every other Premier League club has picked the players they want.

The fact is, if you're a player looking to move to a(nother) PL team, then Palace will be the 20th choice out of 20. That's why they either get players from leagues below the PL, from abroad, or the ones nobody else is interested in.

I would have thought they would be looking to get some defenders? Or at least some rumours of defenders. Seems like IH is building from the front! :lolol:

Except it's not "chosen", it's more a case of one team being made to take him because all the other players had been picked & he was the only one left.

You're all missing the blindingly obvious. How many of these £6m players are looking to come to US?

It's like we didn't lose the war in the eyes of some of you. Well chaps, we did. Have some dignity and suck it up until they're back with us next season.
