Not true. You really should be careful with claims like that, and before you ask I worked for them for a while so I know better.

Wasn't it the case that chuggers signing up a member of the public in the street for a yearly equivalent donation of £60 to £90 were paid by numerous charities a fee of £100+ which effectively wiped out any donations for more than a year ?

Justify that last comment given the rather patient way I've tried to respond to yours and Albion dan's petty digs and snide comments recently. I suspect you havnt even accorded me the courtesy of reading my responses.

So in your own words. Prove it.

The man is a demented clown on here. Not worth the steam off your p1ss or indeed your well-informed, well-argued responses to him.

Dear ROSM. Throughout Gus' well-managed exit, for which the club deserves great credit for following due process (probably setting a precedent in the world of football), you CONSTANTLY sniped at the club, offering only very minor criticism of the LMA's ill-advised response, but waffling-on about how bad the club's PR is. Well, as things stand today, the club is WINNING the PR battle, as most fans (and wider) are back onside.

Now DK's exit from AITC emerges and, surprise, surprise, you see some terrible conspiracy on the part of Tony Bloom, the board, the club to forcibly remove a club legend (which IS what he is). IF he has been removed, rather than sanding-down, then there is almost certainly good reason for this, but you cannot accept that this might be so.

I don't need to prove anything, your anti- stance towards the club's current regime speaks volumes about your (not very well hidden) agenda.

I have now read all your posts up to the one quoted and I remain highly suspicious of your motives.

Yes my opinion. And if you read the post at the top of this page you will see how I have referenced others who share that opinion (and stronger)

Fair enough. But I don't agree: the club clearly has most fans back onside now. So was it really a PR disaster? Really?

Nice! Resorting to insults, shows you KNOW you are losing the argument (again). I suggest that just because my opinion is different to yours, doesn't mean I'm wrong.

Just far enough away from LDC
Dear B.W thank you for taking next to know time to research your argument. However out of courtesy, I'm more than happy to, once again, correct you with regard to your misunderstandings

Dear ROSM. Throughout Gus' well-managed exit, for which the club deserves great credit for following due process (probably setting a precedent in the world of football),

SO WELL MANAGED THAT MANY PEOPLE (INCLUDING YOURSELF) BECAME PARTY TO MULTIPLE LEAKS OF INFORMATION WHICH SEEMLY HAVE DRIVEN THEIR VIEW OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE PROCESS

you CONSTANTLY sniped at the club, offering only very minor criticism of the LMA's ill-advised response, but waffling-on about how bad the club's PR is.

WELL. WHERE DO WE START WITH YOUR OWN JUDGEMENTAL COMMENTS. LET'S SEE.

YES I HAVE BEEN CRITICAL OF THE CLUB. MAINLY BECAUSE I HAVE A BACKGROUND IN BOTH COMMS AND HR. MY CRITICISM CENTRES ON THREE MAIN ISSUES.

1) THE RELEASE STATING GUS HADN'T TURNED UP, WHICH SIMPLY DIDN'T NEED SAYING, ESPECIALLY AS THE REASONS WERE DISPUTED.

2)SECONDLY FOR THE RELEASE OF THE STATEMENT ON SUNDAY THAT PLAYED STRAIGHT INTO THE HANDS OF GUS.

3)THEN THIRDLY FOR THE WOEFUL MONDAY RELEASE THAT ACTUALLY SEEMS TO CONFIRM THAT EVERYTHING HE SAID WHEN PLAYING SEMANTICS WAS CORRECT. THE USE OF THE WORD PENDING, INSTEAD OF THE CORRECT WORD IMPENDING, HAS GIVEN HIM A PUBLIC LIFELINE.

I DID CRITICISE THE LMA STATEMENT, BASICALLY BECAUSE I SAID IT WAS SELECTIVE. BUT FROM A HR PERSPECTIVE, THEIR STATEMENT HAD MORE BASIS IN DUE PROCESS. IN EFFECT THEY WERE ALLOWED THE UPPER HAND DUE TO MY POINT 1

SO I WAS IN A DILEMA. AS A FAN, I WANTED TO BACK THE CLUB, AS INDEED I PUBLICLY DID WHEN SUSPENSION WAS ANNOUNCED. HOWEVER AS A PROFESSIONAL, I HAD TO USE MY JUDGEMENT. IT'S A HEART V HEAD MOMENT. WHICH IRONICALLY IS WHAT WE ARE SAYING WE WANT THE CLUB TO OPERATE BY.

Well, as things stand today, the club is WINNING the PR battle, as most fans (and wider) are back onside.

WELL PR PROFESSIONALS DON'T SEEM TO AGREE. IT'S NOT FANS WE NEED TO WIN OVER, IT'S THE FLOATERS AND PLASTICS. PAUL BARBER HIMSELF SAID AT THE BUSINESS LUNCH LAST WEEK THAT THE CLUBS CHALLENGE NOW IS TO GET ALL THOSE WITH SEASON TICKETS BOUGHT, TO TURN UP.

Now DK's exit from AITC emerges and,

I ACTUALLY REFERENCED WHAT WAS LIKELY TO HAPPEN A FEW WEEKS AGO

surprise, surprise, you see some terrible conspiracy on the part of Tony Bloom, the board, the club to forcibly remove a club legend (which IS what he is).

I HAVE PROVIDED THE BACKGROUND TODAY

IF he has been removed, rather than sanding-down, then there is almost certainly good reason for this, but you cannot accept that this might be so.

I HAVE PROVIDED DETAILS OF MY CONCERNS ON HERE TODAY. I HAVNT SAID ITS GOING TO ALL BE A DISASTER BUT HAVE E XPRESSED MY VIEW OF WHAT COULD HAPPEN

I don't need to prove anything, your anti- stance towards the club's current regime speaks volumes about your (not very well hidden) agenda.

THAT WOULD BE THE SAME ANTI STANCE THAT HELPED THEM WITH THE TRAINING GROUND APPLICATION SUPPORT, OR INDEED LEADS ME TO MAKE THE ONGOINGBPOSITIVE COMMENTS I MAKE ABOUT TONY BLOOM ON NSC WOULD IT?

BUT HAVING CONTINUED YOUR SNIDE DIGS THEN YOU DO NEED TO PROVIDE PROOF THAT I AM A FULLY PAID UP MEMBER ........

I have now read all your posts up to the one quoted and I remain highly suspicious of your motives.

Hmm so I have a different opinion than you so you resort to insults. Now who did you criticise for that then?

What seems to happen here is that because I have a differen view (maybe because the leaks you have heard have given you a different insight) that I automatically have an agenda, whilst you are presenting a totally accurate and objective view. Your signature states you have a balanced opinion. Well I have criticised gus but praised his way of playing football. I have criticised the clubs PR but praised their wish to follow due process by suspending. I have praised tony bloom with no exception and defended dick knight who in many peoples eyes is Blooms rival.

I would say that was quite balanced, wouldn't you. Lets just see how balanced your pronouncements have been?

Horrendous!? Referring to Tony? The club? AITC?

What!? A club employee allegedly says something (an opinion) that is posted on here in an ambiguous way by an admittedly usually reliable source, but with an agenda, and you expect people to 'wake up'!?

Prove it. Remember, both posters are full members of the DK love-in society.

Genuine question. Why then?

He still is, as Life President.

In YOUR opinion.

All good until the last sentence. Why? Dick IS a legend, but he could take us no further. Tony could, and has!

Just out of interest - what have the club done for you to provide such unquestioning loyalty ? What would have to happen before you start to challenge their decisions ?

Joint statement on behalf of Albion in the Community, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Dick Knight

Dick Knight has stepped down from his position as chairman of Albion in the Community (AITC). Dick announced his decision at a meeting of the charity's trustees where the trustees thanked Dick for his huge contribution to the organisation.

Dick, who has been a key figure in turning AITC into one of the leading community schemes in English football, said, "When I took over the club in 1997 I decided we should give something back to the community who had helped save the club, and I can honestly say I am as proud of AITC as I am of any other part of my Albion career."

Thanking Dick on behalf of the club's board, Chairman, Tony Bloom, added, "Dick's contribution to the club looms large in Albion's history. Since standing down as chairman of the football club, he has continued his involvement with Brighton & Hove Albion both as club President and as Chairman of AITC."

At the risk of being confirmed as a member of the "DK love-in society", I can only comment that I have rarely before read such bullshit on the Club's website.

It's mostly true. It's what isn't being said that warrants my comment.

"Since standing down as chairman of the football club, he has continued his involvement with Brighton & Hove Albion both as club President and as Chairman of AITC." Yep. Is that ALL that Tony Bloom has to say?

Can we show LB some respect ? I will tell you what, LB battled tirelessly for Falmer and absolutely tore Anne De Vecchi a new one when he DESTROYED LDC in the enquiry. He did regular updates in the Withdean match programmes about the progress. Pretty much gave his life and soul into it and he is a MASSIVE reason why we even got permission for Falmer in the first place. He is too modest to say this, so I will. RESPECT LB and those that gave so much when we were in our Darkest hour and NO ONE should ever forget this.

Anyway why is everyone so defensive on this everything would always change with the Amex and it has, probably quicker than most hoped but it has and for the better as we are a lean money making machine with ambition or would you harp back to the days of Theatre of Tees ?

some call it respect, others might call it sucking up (or do I have to show you respect because you've done this and that?). Should I go through you next time I want to challenge another poster?
