He'll probably score now but tonight Rooney has stunk.

As long as we don't cross (goes directly to the keeper) or give it to Rooney, we are not bad coming forward.

Crossing has been poor tonight.

Worst support I've ever heard at an England game! I blame that band, they've killed the atmosphere. I think the Ireland fans were singing "You're supposed to be at home!"

I think we will struggle to qualify for the World Cup tbh. We should have enough for Moldova, but the other three games look like proper banana skins

Had draw written all over it at the start, Ireland defended stoutly, England one eye on Brazil this Sunday.

Performance/team/atmosphere

All depressingly crap. We look like a team made up from a population of about 5m. All huff and puff, and no class.

Ireland are a truly terrible team. They have a real lack of quality and technique in every part of the pitch. I am pretty sure the Albion at full pelt would pick holes in that Irish team.

I suspect a disheartened, post Palace-game Albion could have done that too. Players lack the quality of old, dinosaur manager can't get close to the best out of them either. Haven't actually gone to a home game in months despite having an ST as its just too depressing to watch.

More money in the Wembley coffers, apart from that, complete waste of time. I don't think I would have been very happy had I'd gone.

£1 on Lampard to score and a draw, @ 30/1 so not a total waste of time!
