Barnsley players have had to go through decontamination procedure after full time whistle. Haz-Mat team waiting for them in the changing room. :lolol:

The Barnsley team coach was stopped by motorway police as it got to the Yorkshire border. Quarantine area set up on the hard shoulder. :lolol:

YouTube Holloway pre match

Someone tell wurzel team talks just before games should be given to players not fans.
Apparently this is a regular performance at home games. We get a mention to.

What ! Palace didn't win !!!::eek::eek::eek:

Do you mean to say that the organised shouting of support to the players in the warm up didn't work - who would have thought it :ffsparr:

On the train back I went to the toilet at East Croydon and heard some very pissed up fans get on outside. Relieved to hear their northern accents I was a bit confused when leaving the toilet to see one wearing a Palace shirt.

One of their players had thrown the shirt into the crowd.

I really wish my phone hadn't run out and I could post a picture on here tonight.

The bloke had gone to a shop outside the ground to find something to cover up the badge and all he could find was plasters.

Not only had he had successfully covered the badge but he was drawn the Barnsley badge in Biro over it.

Magnificent effort and really gutted I couldn't share it with you tonight.

 Amazing, why would a player throw another teams shirt into the crowd?

Over there
The kit problem certainly ruffled a few feathers as both managers seemed pretty adamant that they had been treated poorly. As much as I hate to say it, worzel had a point. They are playing shite, scrapping for a play off place. Why should they give up their home kit, at selhurst. Christ I feel unclean now, I shall run outside and scrub myself off in the pond

Surely the kit man at Barnsley should have been aware in August that a red home shirt and a blue and black striped away shirt will cause problems at Selhurst Park. Isn't it obvious? Don't need hindsight if he or she was doing the job properly.

Can confirm that Barnsley will be wearing the Palace away kit today due to a colour clash #cpfc

Has this every happened before? haha

Yes. Us v Leicester in 2008-09 season if memory serves me correct due to having 3 kits all with a shade of blue that clashed.

Shouldn't the word be 'matched' and not 'clashed'?

And on a separate note, couldn't they have played shirts versus skins?

The Barnsley players looked ashamed to be giving them away and fans are hardly falling over each other trying to catch them.
