£15m no chance.

But, I do think he's potentially one of our best players.

However, when he's having a bad game (like most wingers frequently do), he should come off. But that doesn't mean he should be dropped for the next 3 months Gus...

Do you have access to what goes on behind closed doors? I'd be interested to hear what you know to openly criticise the management decisions in such fashion.

Think you've had a little too much to drink, as you seem to be suggesting people can only have an opinion on footballing matters if they know what happens on the training ground, which would make NSC somewhat pointless as primarily a football forum.

Since he came back just before Christmas he has not been used enough, amazed he still has confidence, needs to get greedy because he has a great shot on him, perhaps he could stretch to £2m?

It's that age old thing that a manager wants any player to do that he perhaps does not do enough of,tracking back?

Agree entirely with the first part of that. On the second part, every time I've seen him (admittedly not as much as many on here) he's been much better at tracking back than he's given credit for. Didn't see the Palace game but sounded like he did put a few good tackles in and tracked back pretty well.

You are suggesting that he is dropped for three months for a poor performance on the field (and player he rates and chased) or two and I am the one lacking sense?

He is a super sub that's about it!, 15 million is tongue in cheek, he could be worth 1.5 million.

After last weeks performance against Palace I personally think Lua Lua could be worth £15 million. He is Loyal and no matter how much he is subbed, or even if he leaves, will be one of my favorite players of all time, thoughts? :rave:
I love your chirpy optimism but your valuation might just be a tad too much. Having said that...Zaha is worth 400 trillion, so why not?

If he's 15m, i should be able to at least command 500k for my stellar Sunday night 5 a-side performances.

20 mil mate, age - 12mil

You wouldn't make it as a football player's agent my friend. £20 mill for a 34 year old, injury prone player is silly to suggest that. Don't get me wrong, when he plays at his best, he is unbelievable. But MAXIMUM £10mill be that's if he's injury free for a good 6 months and playing his best week in- week out.

When he joined the club, he had an incredible burst of speed from a standing start. I remember him terrorising Norwich for 45 mins on his debut at Withdean. However, although i am not sure he still is as explosive over the first few yards, he has added a lot more to his game and can even defend now, which used not to be the case.

Apart from one bad game this season, he has done really well and has been unlucky not to start more. I hope he can now keep his place and demonstrate consistency as he too is one of my favourite players.

As for the 15m tag, I think you have missed a decimal point between the numbers, but who knows, one day he could be worth more.

He's still not as good as in his Withdean period.
