You can't blame Barnsley for making the most out of this and I'm going whatever the situation. It's been over 20 years since we've been in such a high position in the league as we are now. Got to try to enjoy it whatever the eventual outcome!

Just got mine + 3 others return train from London. Works out at £24.40 with a Y/P card, that's on the 07.55 from London St Panc and the 16.40 from Barnsley on the way back.

Get them while you can!

We've been allocated all the bits in red, so looks like 8,000 odd

Bloody hell, if correct, that is some allocation!

I can see people wanting to travel just to witness Barnsley being annexed by Brighton.

Am I the only one who still isn't confident of us selling 5000 let alone us taking over half their stadium??You surely need to remember how costly this day will be and how far it is for the kick off time! Plus the optimists will save for play offs....

1,357 Brighton fans at Oakwell yesterday - good turnout considering the stupid kick off time, long distance, ticket price and it being a dead rubber game.

See ya next season.

Update for the 2012-2013 season!

The Barnsley board have finally seen sense and lowered the ticket prices for all games to £20 Adults, £15 Concessions, £5 Juniors and in our last home match vs. Wolves, just over 10,000 Barnsley fans turned up which is up by a couple of thousand from the past few years.

So any hardy Brighton fans making the long trip up here on Tues 12th March, at least you won't have to pay £30 for the privilege this season! Should hopefully be a better game this year as well - both teams in form and with things to play for. We also need to avenge for the 5 - 1 defeat at the Amex in August..we were awful that day. Having said that, you were very good and we all expected you to be fighting for automatics after that game.

You've certainly seen an upturn in form (much to our dismay) - it's a shame that this match has been rescheduled for mid week and just a few days before our Palace home game. I would settle for a repeat 0-0 with no injuries or suspensions.

Could you recommend a decent pub to watch the Champion Hurdle before the game?

£20 for season ticket holders and £23 for non season ticket holders. We offer the discount to the away fans as well which is far enough.

So this game is just before your derby with Palace and a couple of days after our trip to Man City in the cup...supporters of both clubs could be forgiven for forgetting that this game is even gonna be played a week tomorrow!
