I do.

Child benefit for x2 children.

Likewise child benefit x 2

Drew unemployment benefit Sept. 1992 - March 1993 after a redundancy
Likewise June 2004 - until it ran out (6 months) then "house husbanded" with no state benefits until June 2008 since when I have been "part time" (30 hrs pw)

Nothing until 3 1/2 years ago, now joint ESA claim with mrs, rent & council tax benefit, carers allowance plus premium. Mrs gets dla mobility component higher rate, dla care component middle rate, plus child benefit for our son :)

I worked from the age of 16 until 38 before changing jobs to look after mrs

Is Child Benefit the c£20 per week one. If so, I believe we receive it but just have to pay it back, so 'no' here.

Won't be getting a penny once the child benefit changes kick in but even though my wife doesn't work and my income is the family income you won't catch me bleating. I don't need it and there are people surviving on food banks at the moment.

Nothing for me but I pay a shit load of tax and NI to subsidise poor employers who pay peanuts and expect the state to make it up to a living wage. How the f*** can scum like Tesco get away with paying minimum wage and get staff to apply for stuff like working tax credit? If they(and the rest of the corporate tax dodging scum) paid a decent rate out of their £3.5 BILLION profits us PAYE suckers could have a tax cut.

Not to say housing benefit paid to private landlords, regulate rent and then no need for the state to subsidise the private sector

I've drawn three days of illness benefit in my entire life.

Oh, and a free eyetest.

That's claiming everything I'm entitled to and if there was more I could get, I'd take it.

It has kicked in. If you're still receiving put it aside as you'll be paying it back.

Sorry, to be clear that's exactly what we're doing. It's always gone in to the kids accounts for Uni so we're claiming so we can carry on doing that then I'll fill out a Self Assesment and declare it.

Us PAYE mugs are being taken for a ride every day,if the minimum wage had kept up with executive pay since it was created the minimum wage would be £19+ an hour,I am lucky in being paid above the national average and if my pay had kept up with the bosses I would be on something like £45 an hour.
As for tax cheating scum like Starbucks Amazon Virgin and Apple how the f*** do they get away with bleeding the state dry in employee benefits whilst paying f*** all in corporation tax?
I dont blame the low paid for drawing a state subsidy to bring up poverty wages to a living amount but scum employers should be made to pay decent wages.
