Dont know why....its not my problem BUT it really pisses me off when I see a driver with a sat nav slap bang in the middle of the screen just below the mirror..

Even worse .....when its in the middle and on BRIGHT daytime colours at night......its like a bloody headlight!!!

Thats it

Nothing compared to the idiot who drove past me in a newish E-Class (if that's the sleek saloon) Merc, with a flat rear tyre.

Proper flat. making a god awful noise.

I navigate using the ancient craft of cartography - a £2.99 AA Map of Britain. It's not lead me into a dead end / river / off Beachy Head so far :)

Why does anybody need a SatNav? (apart from maybe the last mile or two of a journey)

And why would anyone leave it on whilst driving along a motorway?

I've devised a magic signing system that I've left next to the road.

I guess only I can see those.

Totally agree. As if thats not enough of a distraction I saw a new Peugeot with a little plastic screen that flips up from behind the instrument cowl that sits in the drivers line of vision and gives a 'heads-up' display of the car's speed etc. Great bit of technology but then noted the driver also had a big SatNav is parked next to it, also in the drivers line of vision.

Too right mate,it pisses me right off as well, how the hell can they see the road properly?the whole windscreen must be one giant blind spot.Tossers the lot of them and it should be made legal to ram them off the road.

I put mine in the centre of my windscreen, used to put it in the lower right hand corner until a work colleague of mine who did similar had a crash and his side airbag on the side of the windscreen deployed and smacked his sat Nav into his face and broke his nose !!

If you do a lot of driving, especially early mornings, leaving the Sat Nav on whilst driving along a motorway is something i do. If i don't there is a chance i will miss my exit. Just a reminder. Many times i have shot past the exit.

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
If you drive close enough behind them you can use the sat nav in the car in front to navigate for yourself

Which is fine if your intention is to also head to Crich Tram Museum in the Peak District.
It was................and I did.Couldn't find my way home though.
