None. A striker and Central defender is what is needed. Unless of course Elliott Bennett became availabe

I actually think (rather, hope) it will be the opposite in that department and we will see one or two leave, at least on loan. Messrs Harley and Sparrow for starters. It is clear to see what's needed but as you say, we ALL said the same thing in August and as the clock counted down on August 31 and we had one signing left to announce we all thought it would be a new striker. Instead it was Hammond. And as much as I love Dobbie (the lad is different gravy) I reckon he might go out on loan for rest of the season, especially if the V-man is edging nearer to full fitness (ahem). He clearly doesn't feature is Gus' plans which makes his signing on the final day of the transfer window even more biwildering.

At least 3 possible 4. Gus collects midfielders like some collect stamps!

Do you know how the transfer window works? I know the rules can seem complex to people like you, but let me clarify - we can still sign/offer a contract to a player who is already under contract to us. Even if he is called the 'V-Man'.

Gus has 4 years left on his contract and we're making steady progress.
He's going nowhere.

Thank God Tony Bloom is more patient than some people on here.

And you know that how?

He didn't hang around sacking Slade.

People like me? Please...explain...? I'm interested (this should be fun...). I'm assuming you know me then and my experience in both the football and sporting arenas from both playing and from a business perspective, yes? Or are you assuming I'm a JCL because I have less than 300 posts?

And when did I state otherwise? Did you actually read my post? I think you are a tad confused here.
