On the basis that the Oxman went for 5m + 5m addons I suppose 10m is a fair valuation that CPFC might want to hold on for. Although Arsenal have a much better pedigree in producing players that cut it at the very top level so they have a premium.

What I meant was, in the first two games of the season we played a team without those players in, and with 3 of our most important players out injured.

The point I was making is that the team we will field when all of our players are back is a FAR superior team to the one we have been able to field so far.

Change the record. You've been saying that since JANUARY

The problem with that statement is that most clubs have influential players out for at least some of the season. We have not had a particularly amazing start to the season but there again Vicente and Buckley are injured,Lua Lua has been injured CMS was injured. Would we be sitting pretty on 9 points if they had all played. I think you need to face the facts, palace are ATM weaker than last season (and you were VERY poor then) and your squad depth is hopelessly thin.

By "this season", do you mean 3 league games? If so, then has he has 3 assists :)

Zaha has had no opportunity to prove himself in the top flight. His £10m valuation isn't completely based on his current ability, it is based on his enormous potential. Wolves sold Fletcher and Jarvis for over £10m. Zaha is likely to be a much better player than both of those two.

Zaha looks a better player than Moses did at his age. Moses has just signed for Chelsea for £9/10m despite only having a year left on his contract at Wigan. Anyone who buys Zaha for £10m will have a bargain and a fantastic player on their hands.

That said, he won't leave until January at the earliest and probably not until the summer.

I suggest you read your own post again, Jarvis 10mil, Moses 10mil both played in the prem. how long does Zahahahahaha have left on his contract this is the biggest factor in any fee.

Indeed. It is VERY easy to quote injuries from your own team, without really knowing about the state of other teams. VERY easy to assume other teams are always at pretty much full strength.

Anyhow, enough about that - I reckon Zaha is off within 4 days to plug the Palace money pit. Surely Bolasie has already been bought to replace him?

'£10 million a bargain for Zaha'

:lolol::lolol::lolol::lolol::lolol:

The most deluded comment ever.

He's young, he has potential but 10 f***ing million ? Hahahahahaha

Honestly for a comment like that you deserve a ban.

A team like Wigan/Everton/Reading will sign him 4-5 million tops.

I think that they're great, and that at least 2 if not all 3 should be first team players.

Freedman has confirmed that we're signing one or two strikers this week. Good news! :)

Get a grip you fool.

Didn't Barnsley have 12 players out injured this week?

Here's one for you. We enquired about a teenager at a Premier League club who is nowhere near their First Team squad. Dougie didn't even think he was good enough anyway, but we asked and were told that he earns £1.8 million per year and they were looking at a sizeable contribution towards that.
Still working on others but rest assured that we'd rather sign nobody than pay stupid money that our club can't afford

Of course there's no problem with Dougie and the owners. He said he didn't want a player and they went ahead and tried to start negotiations regardless. How wonderful.

Whilst that makes lovely reading for the purposes of rubbing Palace noses in the proverbial, it does beg the question IF not exaggerated (and after all, we know from our dear friend seaside that everything CPFC2010 says is gospel!), why a Premiership club is paying a 'not good enough' teenage reserve 35k a week!? Can't think of many, even the top 4 clubs, who would pay that sort of money for a nobody. Either that or, y'know, it's bullshit straight from the king of all the bullshitters' mouth.

I am sure Seaside will be along with the latest spin, to reassure us how big the Palace budget is, and how many quality signings they'll make this week.

Surely this sort of info should remain confidential and not be spouted about on some message board.

But, as you know from Ross McLeeds, you can't confirm deals until they've actually signed. I wouldn't be surprised if you did sign a striker or two, but I would be surprised if they were any good.

I think the player concerned is on the books at Chelsea but it is irrelevant because Dougie didn't think he was good enough to play for Palace.
