Arsenal got a decent figure for him imo, could have been a lot worse if they had held on to him.

just have to question the loyalty when Arsenal stuck by him for 7 years of injuries..don't really think loyalty exists in premiership football anymore - especially amongst the foreign players.
Arsenal have made some good signings so he can't really question their ambition..i still fancy them to have a good season, especially if Wilshire comes back to his full potential

Errmm what do peel think about RVP and dream team? It could go either way IMO. May as well wait a couple of weeks to see if he gets injured.

United's weakness was midfield last season and signing RvP won't remedy that. He'll get goals but personally I think last season was his best season. Aguero is a cert for me for top goalscorer.

I think a fit Cleverley and Shinji Kagawa will see to that.

I can see a change in formation. Rooney and RVP up top with Kagawa just behind them. That is a strike force to take the title back.

Hope he breaks his leg. And for that matter I hope Rooney does too.

£24mil for a 29 year old is great business from wenger's point of view, as there is no point in keeping a player who wants to leave. And besides, he has bought giroud and podolski for less than that combined. Could backfire for man u as rvp only really has a couple of years as a world class player, so one lengthy injury could be costly.
