Fair enough, I was wrong. We are not a noddy club. We've just got a lot of noddy fans, arguing the toss with a teenager over Brighton & Hove's city status (it would seem, I haven't actually bothered reading most of the crap) and displaying a major inferiority complex over Ipswich fans bitching about our latest signing.

As ads for NSP go, it still needs polishing.

Your first post was a quality fishing exercise, and had an element of truth about it, as does this. However, your comments on NSC being full of mongs is well wide of the mark - it's the one site that ALL on-line Albion fans visit. And a good deal of them are a lot more intelligent than you.

Anyway, FWIW I think threads like these don't prove we're a noddy club, they simply prove we're making the transition from noddy club to decent sized provincial club. Firstly, we're clearly not a noddy club because we've got 23,000 STHs and had 18,500 STHs last year. Secondly, the proof that we're in this transitional phase is not the length of this thread, but the fact that we now have lots of sensitive types. So much so that about 4 Albion fans felt the need to register on TWTD and defend the club against belittling comments. Seriously, who gives a f*** sufficiently to want to do that?

Except, you're not a city though are you?

home page - Brighton Hove City Council

It says City Council, but I'm not entirely sure if that actually means we're a city.

Albeit wikipedia, it has a point. City status in the United Kingdom - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Again, we're a city according to them.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/434272.stm - 13 year old article about a battle for a city status. Not a siege with guns and swords and shit though...

Firstly how do you know it is crap if you haven't read most of it ?
Secondly and lastly I consider myself to be a "Big Ears" fan rather then Noddy.

Then f*** off out of it you wanker.

Get 'er! :safeway:

Nothing of the sort. I'm just making the point that bickering about things like city statuses is all a bit, well, noddy. Brighton & Hove is a city, why the need to argue with a child about it? Ipswich fans have got their knickers in a twist because we beat them to a signing, so what? Let them create another confusing banner.

Ours IS a club on the up, with the potential to be massive. But all the time we're bickering about such trivial stuff we are going to be looked upon as 'little old Brighton'.

The club has evolved, it's now time for the fans to do the same.

Who gives a flying f*** what other fans think of us. You seem to think you're some kind of spokesperson telling fans how to act.
I suggest you wind your neck in as you sound like an arrogant twat

Woooooooh! touchy subject, so you're a so called 'city', still makes you a smaller club then Ipswich i'm afaid.

Kuch'cack' btw is not a patch on Speroni and you know it.

Pepperoni is past his sell by date , the new king between the posts in the Championship is "The Black Squirrel". I read that Croydon is trying to attain "city" status but have had a setback :- NewsNow: Loading story...

Who gives a flying f*** what other fans think of us.

That's my point! :dunce: Getting all precious about it just makes us look tinpot.

You seem to think you're some kind of spokesperson telling fans how to act.

Not at all, but one of the main points of a message board is to exchange opinions. You have yours, I have mine. Only difference is yours is wrong.

but that doesn't make sense, you're worried about our fans making you feel tin pot to other fans, therefore you ARE bothered what other fans think -
well I think that's what I mean, I'm in a bit of a muddle now

He's worried about how we look to other clubs when we start threads about what other clubs think of us, innit.
