And how about nominations for our Directeur Sportif ? - I'll put forward Johann Museeuw ( but that's mainly because with my user name, I'm bound to get picked for the team on a regular basis :) )
I've edited out the rest as I didn't understand, it's late and I'm off to bed.

I'm not playing unless Jens is DS.
Just click the photo, to find out why.

Loving that !

You're not really off to bed though are you - You're off to work on designs for the team jersey. Go on, admit it

The big problem with this tour is it may well be the event to get me into the twitterverse.

I'm very proud of my ability to waste my time, and I'm pretty sure I don't need outside influences to help.
I signed up to Twitter 3 years ago, when it was new, but haven't been anywhere near it, till now.

Last night I sent my first proper tweet, to NSC's finest, congratulating him.

When this gets out of hand, you can say you were there at the beginning

Perhaps it could be simply done on average score so people decide how to best cover their bases with different riders. Maybe you could move transfers between team-mates or even points.

Just got my transfers in for today with a minute to spare, nowhere near the usual amount of research for me as I am hungover and off the back of a 15 hour shift.

Cunego is in, and hopefully will go for a stage win, the same goes for Dario Cataldo. Although I have a sneaky suspicion for Uran today.

I did my transfers very late last night. I ended up going for Mr.Conservative himself in anticipation of him edging further up the GC by placing near the front of today's stage again. I regret that move in a way now as my sneaking suspicion for a stage win today is Rujano. Good call on Uran though, he's hovering nicely in 15th and will want to skip away at some point I expect to move up closer or into the top ten.

Will probably get out with the kids up the allotment again soon so they can run around in the sun followed by some swings & slides. That way I kill two birds with one stone :) Will keep updated on my phone with the cyclingnews live counter and then come back home to watch the last hour or so I expect. It's a hard life sometimes, all this juggling when a race is on

I'm going to put Uran forward for the win today, by saying:-

He needs to be looking at the 3rd week to make his move, not now.
Sky wouldn't want to defend the jersey while Cav is still looking for wins.

Uran just needs to keep in and around the top 10 with half an eye on J-Rod and the other mountain goats.

Sad stat of the day. We're only about 150 posts away form passing those runners. I reckon we'll easily pass them during The Tour.
hmmm, I think Le Tour deserves it's own thread.
As those who haven't seen the light, and think Pro Cycling is a 3 week event, still enjoy Le Tour thread.

I can't see even the most committed arm chair Le Tour fan being prepared to wade through 50 pages of our bullshit, to get there.

It's not ALL bullshit. Probably just 95%.

Anyway. Today's stage profile (that G and Taylor Phinney have announced on Twitter that they are not looking forward to)

Just in and turned the Giro on.

Within a minute, the peloton at around the 35kms, they are going through a town/village I really would like to visit.

Surely the Tour of Britain parcours, could be improved, it doesn't really seem to generate much 'wow factor'.
