Thought he did really well. The Palace defence, who had dealt with CMS very comfortably all evening, were all over the place when he came on. Showed that if he and CMS play together, should be many more chances to score. IMHO.

Won a few headers and set himself up for a chance with an excellent first touch and turn before a lousy second touch which sent the ball miles over. We need to work on crosses to make the most of him.. a lot of deliveries weren't much cop tonight. Thought we could learn from Palace too on some of the drilled low crosses - they seemed to put them into really dangerous areas whereas ours tend to be a bit half-hearted.

this - really good performance tonight but buckers and calde guilty of some shockers lol

Yep. Palace were there for the taking in the last 20 minutes. We were getting the ball into some great positions on the right, but Calde & Buckley failed to make any crosses count, frustratingly planting it on the head of Gardner time after time.

Vokes did well though. Both he and Toby were causing problems every time we ventured into their half.

He held the ball up very well, but delivery from the right was very poor. There was no coincidence that we dominated when he came on as we finally held the ball up in the final third. I would have liked to have seen what he could do when a decent cross came in, but it didn't happen.

I thought Gardener looked very good for Palace though. He was their best player IMO

Loked alittle rusty, but along with Toby made a big impact when he came on. Got into several good positions which was very encouraging. The double substitution changed the second half.

Early days, but I thought he wasn't great. More Paynter than Zamora.
Don't expect too much as he has been on loan to what seems half the clubs in the league.
Thought Adgestan was good.
We improved when CMS was subbed, who never looked like scoring.
Should have taken the 3.5 million from Reading if it was true.
The guy hasn't scored since September, 19 games I believe. Not good enough.
For the Leicester game, I would drop him to the bench. If well leave Voakes & the Norwegian on from the start.
