A thread about members who no longer appear to post on NSC

I used to post quite frequently on here. Over the years I have slowed down a lot. Some of this is due to a change is social circumstances. Put it is partly due to feeling like I was being ridiculed for my opinions and in particular on how poor my spelling could be.

NSC is a great place to visit, as I do every day, but can be an immensely intimidating place for a newbie and oldies alike.


But then we should not take it so personally.

I know loads of great people through NSC and indeed the REMF was bourne from it but it has a bullying culture in that some people circle around waiting for an " opportunity " and then decent to pick at the remains. Thats the internet though I suppose , bullying with no comeback or responsibilties for ones own actions.

I first met Yorkie at Brammall Lane about 7 years ago [and Hitony too if I recall]
AND, I saw Yorkie at Wrecsam last night .... looking fit and dandy [not fit in the teanage sense you understand]
Reckon she's more regular following the Albion than some on here

I met the two of you for the first time (you and hitony) at Coventry in 2005-2006, the match Mr Wise ripped us apart. I met hitony at Exeter last year and got the two of you mixed up; I said to Tony, 'don't you live in Shropshire?' Is that a sign of age? (I'm 42 by the way).

She left after the culture of this board changed. Very little was done about personal abuse so she left, and we lost a fantastic poster IMO.

Never been gone, M'lord. Just lurking for the most part while soaking in the wit and repartee as I sip on a mai tai in the hammock behind the humble grass hut. That and cowering in the corner as the NSC sparks fly. I have occasionally fantasized about a drive-by posting giving player ratings based on absolutely nothing and a distance of 8,500 miles, but then that would be no different from many of the other posters on 'ere

Besides, I prize my lean, mean postings-to-8-year-membership ratio, so have to keep up my slacker persona. Anyway, keep up the good work and the heavy lifting. Seriously it is truly amazing how a longtime fan living so far away can feel so informed and involved.

haha yea rememeber that day... out of a stand of few thousand typically the rocket hits me... lol maybe its lucky.... games weren't the same without him.... I cant remember whether it was the Brighton 4 Wolves 0 game or the Brighton 4 Watford 1 game... was definately one of those games though.
