So he is effectively accusing Gareth Thomas that, given the right set of circumstances, he will be likely to perform an act of rape on him?
So what about players then that have little respect for women - John terry, Ashley cole, Wayne Rooney, they are there to set examples too surely - nothing happens to them!!
What an idiot...
I don't think that comment has any place, particuarly with regards to the special nature of homosexual sportsmen who struggle with depression due to such 'banter'.
Tommy Elphick? I'm sure I passed over a tweet from him yesterday where he commented on the nice (or might have been 'great') rack on a girl he'd seen in the gym. At the time I thought it slightly foolish of him to do that.

WOW - a homophobic footballer.... whatever next?!?
I take it the OP has not played any level of organised football. Homophobia and racism are rampant at all levels. Primarily because most people who play football, are actually, well pretty darn thick.
It's homophobic and insidious as it comes from a public figure (albeit a minor one, but one still with influence over some) and it continues the stereotype that no-man is safe from the sexual advances of a homosexual, something which is clearly ridiculous (esp if you're as ugly as Lee Steele), let alone offensive. Not really just banter is it.[/QUOTE
Isnt calling someone ugly insidious and offensive go sack ur puritanical and hypocritical self. Ugly people everywhere should be outraged...
But let people say what they feel
Using your own prejudice to save us all from.....well prejudice.
Thanks.
What "they feel". So, in Lee Steele's case, what he feels is "fear of being raped by a gay rugby player"?
I would say that Mr Steele should think about suing his exemployer, bloody ridiculous to sack somebody for something as innocuous as that. Seems to me they jst want to get him of their payroll.
