I was chatting to few people in the bar area yesterday and we were saying how you end up getting obsessed with going and get extremely guilty if you don't go.

I go 5 times a week as medically it is doing me good seemly, if I miss one of the days I feel guilty about not going....ie Tuesday watching the England game.

Anyone else get this or are we just a bunch of weirdos

Nope. I get proper guilt trips over it, minimum of 4 visits a week or i feel very guilty.

I pay £60 a month to not go to the gym. Happy with that.

I go 3 to 4 times a week, plus couple of classes.

Great way to keep fit, keep the weight down, and work off a bit of stress.

Whilst I wouldn't say I was obsessed, if I miss a couple of sessions, I do feel guilty.

Due to being in a small town, limited Gym hours and my longer working hours I am not able to get to the gym everyday. That being said if there is a day I do have the time and for whatever reason end up not being able to go I feel guilty as well!

4/5 times a week.
monday to saturday - perfect diet.
saturday night - booze it up a bit.
sunday - have a pizza while watching super sunday.

if i dont gym 4/5 times a week and eat perfect during the week then i feel guilty about going out and having the weekend junk meal.

Yep 3/4 times a week plus sport outside that. Missed it for last 2 weeks because been ill but not really that fussed needed some time off

If this makes any sense, I feel guilty about not going to the gym ever.

I know I should go to a gym, I know I shouldn't smoke, I know I drink to much and I know my diet is not as it should be.

I am however 43, at the correct weight although carrying a slight beer belly, fit enough to play golf carrying my clubs, and generally healthy for my age according to my doctor.

100% This!!! Monday to Friday my body is a Temple. Saturday and Sunday it's a Theme Park!

I have to work hard in the gym Mon-Fri so I can do what I like at weekends. Weird logic I know, but it suits me!

No gym for me. I have installed a rowing machine and a cross trainer in my garage, which I use 1-2 times a week at the moment. Sadly the rest of my clan are currently not making any use of this facility, which kind of defeats the purpose. If I can get some interest, from the others it should pay for itself.

No. If you get enough exercise in your daily life, there is no point.

It's people who drive to the gym who amuse me. If you walked, cycled or jogged there, you wouldn't have to waste £60 a month on going in...

You can then walk, cycle or jog to the pub, and spend the £60 you have saved in there instead.

The walk up to West Stand Upper replaces any need for a gym surely?

True but the pie washed down by a few pints, once you get up there, may balance that out a little.

Don't go to the gym myself but I do swim 2 to 3 times a week. Yes, it can be boring but my season ticket includes the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi afterwards for social chit chat and is considerably cheaper than a gym.
