Is it her first game? Should be a wonderful occasion for you all.

For one reason and another, it's my little girl's first visit to the Amex this Saturday and we both can't wait. It's not her first game ever (Derby away at about 6 weeks old), nor her first of the season (Leicester away) and she even roughed Ninian Park when she was 4 or so. But each game with your child(ren) is very special. Take a camera to capture the day and enjoy!

My lad's first game was the Swindon home loss April 2009, just before the Russell Slade miracle.
My lad loved the day, and was the only Brighton fan who went home happy. Hooked for life!

I took my 7 yr-old to his first game recently, Ipswich away.

Well, first game if you don't include the play-off final which I went to when I was 6 months pregnant.

My only worry really was the swearing, but I told him that anything he hears at football grounds, stays in the ground, and he's not to bring that kind of language home.

I think at 5 he would have been too wriggly, but now he can read the game and likes having a programme so he can see who all the players are.

my 4 yo came with me to the Doncaster match and it was his first experiance of football. he has been to all saturday home matches and loves it (so much so he now gets up and watches the football league show on sky + almost every morning). we sit WSU right on the halfway line so when singing i have to change some words to avoid the sticky situation with the wife when he starts singing all the chants he hears back home. I completly agree about having stuff to do with you because 2hrs is abit long for the youngsters. Standing on his seat is fine and the bloke behind him has no problem with it at all.

Jelly babies and wine gums keep my son happy. He went to his first match at 4 years old; he's 42 now.

Think I've seen him... does he still sit there noshing away at jelly babies and wine gums?

From peoples experience, does taking your children to Albion matches at a young age ensure they do not fall into supporting the 'big clubs' when they go to school?
