Look I respect your right to consider all theories etc etc but in this case 10 people have died in a bombing ( of an empty building according to you ) and 84+ young people have also lost their lives in a terrifying way. Couldn't you just leave it alone just out of respect ? I'm certainly no fan of Israel but this isn't the time to start conspiracy theories - wait for the dust to settle first.

How is this 'conspiracy theory' as you call it any different or disrespectful to the widespread assumption that it was Al Quaeda?

at the time of writing it was an "empty building" according to reports.

i have posted before that looking for truth in horrible events like this is born out of compassion, and for me is no way disrespectful.

look at the front page of todays sun for the ultimate conspiracy theory "Al Qaeda Massacre." If you have these views have you taken these up with the Sun - they are read by millions, and my views are read by ten or twenty.

that brunswick is crazy to even suggest Mossad in a questioning way.....is he a looney?

29th March 2011 news link

well, for one thing it assumes Mossad goes round doing that sort of thing. secondly, if the leader of the Socialist party calls for a vote (interesting no immediatly accessible news on the outcome, only the proposal), why not attack their leader and party, rather than another party? at the first hurdle, the theory fails.

"hunter killer: at least 87 die in Norway massacre". thats the online headline anyway, no mention at all of Al Qaeda. did they print an earlier edition with a completely different story?

It's the way his theories make light of the deaths that make it disrespectful. Besides, he's never once provided a shred of credible evidence to back up these theories.

I don't agree with his theory but i also don't see how they are making light of the situation. Maybe I missed something?

Generally looking for the truth starts in a quiet way with authorities investigating and not spouting theories. Discussion of their findings tends to take place a long time after the event - that's why public inquiries into these sort of things are a long time after.

The Sun isn't blaming anyone but the person arrested as far as I can see ? Besides, The Sun can hardly be held up as a bastion of the truth can it !

the sun front page STATING AL QUAEDA DID IT WITH NO PROOF.....for those who find researching on their own a little hard. (click next if still having trouble without bbc ticker).

but lets not attack Murdoch and his team, let us go for brunswick who has a theory that actually carries more weight than the MSM official nonsense.

brunswick You claim people will blame Al-Qaeda, you blame Israel. Whats the difference? Everyone has their theories. Oh and you were wrong. Plus you were taking news reports from other news agencies as gospel truth (which turned out to be factually inaccurate) while criticising the bbc to be inaccurate and laughing at people believing everything they read.......... hmmmmmm

disagree....the 9/11 official report is full of holes, and they started off shouting MUSLIM terror after 7 (seven) minutes.

public enquiry into 7/7? tell me all about it my friend?

Westdene - what do YOU think happened yesterday? What is your gut feeling?

The MSM does not have theories, it bashes out an official line to further an agenda.

It is fact the Norway and Israel have strained relations, and this sort of operation has hallmarks of MOSSAD - until a better theory comes my way, this is the one i am juggling with.

I think nearly 100 people ( possibly more ) met their death in an horrific way and my thoughts are with their families and firends. Past that I will wait for the dust to settle before claiming Muslims / Israel / the far right / aliens / New International were to blame.

Westdene Seagull - Over the year's I have had more disagreements with you (I believe) than anyone else on NSC, however, for possibly the first time, I am almost in complete agreement with you (other than me being a fervent supporter of Israel). 91 people have been murdered in Norway & now is not the time for the conspiracy theories. Our hearts, prayers & thoughts are with the Norwegian people at this time.

Your comments don't come across as respectful and full of compassion when you start by saying:
Not too worrying as all staff leave early friday's and most are on holidays......

Isn't it funny that when this happens in a European city with just a single death, it dominates the news and everyone is like "oh my god." Whereas "63 killed in car bomb in Baghdad", "40 dead in Kabul blast" don't even make the little summaries of world news in the Metro now....
Even if there were fewer deaths than there are, it would still be understandable for it to be headline news becaue
1) it's happened on the continent we live on
2) there are many more bombings in Bagdad, and sadly the more bombing there are in any one place, the less of a news story each bombing becomes.

Which, IMHO, is ten or twenty more than should be, given your privileged opportunity to spew your nonsense.
