Having a debate with my work colleage about making Tea. He puts the milk in before the hot water which I believe is wrong and he could have a much better cuppa if he puts the milk in last. Whats the best or correct way?
Your work Mate, He is'nt a Palarse fan is he? it would explain lack of etiquette
I also always put the milk in last.
With a cup of coffee I always put the milk in before the boiling water tho.
The tea will only brew properly with very hot water, so there's is no point in reducing the temperature by adding cold milk first. I tend to add milk before I remove the tea-bag though, as I can judge the strength by the colour - only after leaving the bag in for at least 4 minutes.
freak
Instant coffee doesn't need boiling water, so it's fine.
for me tea bag tea in a cup is simple, pour water onto tea bag, once tea is brewed take bag out and add milk
however if you are making a pot of tea then put a little milk into a cup and pour brewed tea from pot on top, you can always top up with more milk if required
