Slade at Barnsley?

Why would Slade swap maybe a play-off chasing club for one that is the bookies' favourite to be relegated?

Only two things I can think of - money & managing in a higher division.

LO aren't going to get promoted and even if they did there would be no chance of them staying there. At least Slade would have a fighting chance at Barnsley, and they would still be in a beter position then LO even if relegated.

but the glass is half full version is stay with the club hes built a reservoir of goodwill at, not to mention the respect of the chairman, get promoted, become a legend and pass Barnsley as they drop.

Think he should stay with Orient he is more than capable of putting them in a challenging position but the prospects at Barnsley look grim. He should learn by other managers mistakes of jumping at the first chance to go to a higher division.

Barnsley are a "bottom third" club in the Championship , RS taking over as manager will either see them relegated or end up in 18th place.
