I'm beginning to feel a little sad at that thought. The trees and us have been through a lot together. Can't wait for the Amex though. Anyway thanks for some great evenings Withdean.Let's hope tonight is another one.
I will genuinely miss the Withdean, not a proper football stadium but still going to miss it!
I have streams of tears running down my face as i type,so gutted its the last night game![]()
Don't worry - it will still be there when we're gone, festering away like a knackered old aunt you forgot to feed, smelling of humbugs and stale women's urine.
It will be my last night there too, fella.
Amazing to think that Withdean is not that far off matching the Goldstone in terms of longevity in my life as an Albion fan. Although my first Albion game was in 1981, I only went 3 times until I started going regularly in 1984.
I won't have the lump in the throat I had at the Goldstone v Donny Rovers or any tears nonsense, but it has served us well when the alternative was unthinkable and I will tip my hat to the place as I leave under the bridge one last time.
Surely it's everyones last night there?

Not necessarily.
Play off semi final, home leg is still a possibility.
Oh God! I hope not!
Funny enough i,ve only ever been to withdean once and that was enoughI think you'd have to have put in at least one appearance to even begin to understand, imagine it was Elm Park![]()
