I'm beginning to feel a little sad at that thought. The trees and us have been through a lot together. Can't wait for the Amex though. Anyway thanks for some great evenings Withdean.Let's hope tonight is another one.

I will genuinely miss the Withdean, not a proper football stadium but still going to miss it!

It will be my last night there too, fella.

Amazing to think that Withdean is not that far off matching the Goldstone in terms of longevity in my life as an Albion fan. Although my first Albion game was in 1981, I only went 3 times until I started going regularly in 1984.

I won't have the lump in the throat I had at the Goldstone v Donny Rovers or any tears nonsense, but it has served us well when the alternative was unthinkable and I will tip my hat to the place as I leave under the bridge one last time.

I have streams of tears running down my face as i type,so gutted its the last night game:p

I think you'd have to have put in at least one appearance to even begin to understand, imagine it was Elm Park

It will be my last home game full stop until the Amex open it gates! Hope I can leave having just seen us promoted. Thought I'd be fine but tbh I do feel a twinge of sadness at 22 had most of my footballing memories there that will stay with me forever. Crying as I thought we had been knocked out of the play offs only to witness adam virgo in the last second and feel the Southstand go absolutly mental being one.

Goodbye Withdean.

Don't worry - it will still be there when we're gone, festering away like a knackered old aunt you forgot to feed, smelling of humbugs and stale women's urine.

... and that's just the North Stand..

You don't work for the estate agent who have rented it out to Whitehawk FC do you?

If we get promotion tonight at Withdean, I think it will be a fitting last evening game there.

Only two games left there after tonight. WOO HOO!

Im gutted...in Kuala Lumpur so its going to be a long night..alarm set for 3.45 am to listen to the match. Funny isnt it how emotional we all are at the moment about Withdean.
I love it in Asia, but there is only one place i want to be right now .. lets hope for a fantastic night .

Well Whatever,

I am so pleased to have attended matches at the Withdean and so sorry I didn't manage to acquire a ticket for tonight.

The Southampton game will sadly be my final visit to the Withdean unless I subsequently visit as an athletics fan - highly unlikely, OR use the everyday Park and Ride !

For those fortunate enough to be attending this evening, have a super time.

Yours jealously

Alan

With the right result, it will be a very emotional night. I couldn't get a ticket, but I will be there in spirit. I hope everyone has a great night.
