Newcastle also linked with David Bentley apparently. That would surely mean LuaLua is surplus to requirements at Newcastle? As far as him only being 19 goes, I'm pretty sure Pardew is not looking six, five, four or even three years into the future, he will be looking at the here and now. That combined with the fact that LuaLua will presumably want to settle at a club and play first team football means, in my opinion, we have a decent chance of signing him. On loan at the very least.

I'm so desperately hoping the above is true.

I'm sure he wouldn't want to upset the fans but he'll want what is best for Newcastle. If that means selling Kaz for 400k and using the money to help bring in Bentley or someone of that ilk, wouldn't he do it? Also, if Newcastle stay comfortably mid-table or even top half and they have an exciting new winger from somewhere, I don't think Pardew will have a mutiny on his hands by allowing LuaLua to leave for the right price.

Obviously my desire for that to be true may cloud my judgement slightly, but I feel that is a realistc scenario.

You could of course be right, They do love players that come through the Youth System though.
