Maybe, just maybe the speculation has been correct?

Just a small piece in the Sun:

Plymouth have agreed to sell Craig Noone to Brighton for a fee of £250,000 in January.

This ties in with the todays Argus lead story on the back page with Marcus Painter saying he would love Noone to join the team and goes on to say how tricky the winger was in the fixture at Home Park, and that Ashley Barnes has said he is a very good player.

I usually take these things with a pinch of salt, but when a Brighton player goes on record in quite a large article, you would have to think this is more than just paper talk. Fingers crossed. xx<< Fingers not kisses!!

You DO NOT argue with that NSC! With all the bullshit and bluster on here about player signings over the days, weeks and months leading up to Xmas, this is the first bit of bonafide, 126% concrete evidence that Noone is definately, unquestionably, undeniably, unequivocably on the move.

Plymouth say they want to hang on to him Noone still wanted but Swindon said that Greer and unlike Plymouth they weren't potless.

Fair enough, I think everyone at Plymouth totally expect BWP and Noone to go in January, followed by others. Sad times for them, but lets hope we can help them and ourselves by getting Noone (and BWP if at all possible).

I don't have that much sympathy for Plymouth given the fact that in the past we've had to sell players to stay afloat. Dean Saunders for £60000 was daylight robbery for example.
