Not sure how this would effect things if we were going to be trying to sign him.

Plymouth Argyle chairman Sir Roy Gardner resigns in protest at the latest boardroom reshuffle at the financially troubled club.

I've been wondering this too. Been reading their forum and a few of their fans are speculating that Ridsdale will bring some money in and halt the sale of their best players. No idea how much substance there is in that. Be good to see them survive but only after we get our mits on Noone!

I think its already a done deal with Noone...
The argus...yeah I know its the argus... gave me hope with this line yesterday..

Noone could be on the brink of a ban with former Plymouth team-mate Barnes when he links up with Albion.

Yes ı saw that too... started to get excited and then remembered it was the Argus so put my excitement back on ice.

The fact the Argus did a big thing with Painter about him would suggest he is on the way otherwise it was a strange article to say the least.

More substance, but not another thread.

Sky Sports | Football | News | Seagulls to swoop for Noone

Skysports.com understands Brighton are poised to sign Plymouth winger Craig Noone.

Brighton have been chasing the highly-rated 23-year-old for some time and saw a move rejected for him during the last loan transfer window.

However, it appears they are set to get their man when the transfer window reopens in 48 hours after agreeing an undisclosed fee with Plymouth for Noone.
Plymouth are resigned to losing Noone as they look to offload a number of players to ease their financial problems.

Noone has been one of Plymouth's shining lights this season, scoring four goals this term and his performances have caught the attention of Seagulls boss Gus Poyet.
Poyet sees Noone's arrival as a key addition to the squad as the League One leaders look to secure promotion this season.
