It was more a message to their fans. Picture this, your on a small income and fancy taking your son to the game at a reduced cost of £15 + 5 = £20. The opposing teams bosses come along and insist that prices go up to normal amounts costing you a potential £35 - 40 just coz they had plans on taking advantage on the size of SMS and the Saints fan base. Wouldnt you be pissed off. Like we have a duty to them to put their gate receipts before increasing the accessibility to genuine fans
Havent agreed with our chairman on many things but fair play for highlighting this blatant example where cash is being considered before the better of the game.
Have to agree with this. Didn't we have concerns last season that Wycombe would ask for ticket prices to be normal matchday price instead of reduced. The issue should have been dealt with privately though & for that I find SFC guilty of Crassness & sentenced to another season in League 1.
