This was my first chance to see him in action and straight away i thought we had another CKR on our hands who rates himself. Wearing bright yellow boots thinking hes something special and yet was the first Albion player to make way.
Sorry Batti you are not very good. It's south terminal for you and Baz in the summer.

That bench was awful Saturday though. I think I'd like 2 or 3 more players in an ideal world. Maybe 2 strikers as I think Holroyd isn't up to it.

Don't blame you, I'm thinking of adding him as well.

And me. Pathetic to write the Argies off so soon. They've both got something about them.

What about that new player from Chelsea and maybe Caskey? The Argies are shit but apart from that it's a good midfield.

...and you had the audacity to call me a dimwit.

New country. Different brand of football. Not a great deal of experience. Yes, they are clearly shit

Interesting you mention holroyd.

I know it was only two minutes but the lad looks stronger this year, holding off defenders when the ball was in the corner of hte pitch to run down time. He wouldn't have been able to/have the confidence to do that last year. Just a point that our bench is stronger than given credit.

Well of course it did - it's our 3rd Team.

We have a central defender (Greer), two midfielders (Sparrow and Navarro) and a keeper (Brez) missing from the first team, so their replacements were playing. That means that at least four of the bench was made up of thrid choice players.

Lualua will be a first teamer (relegating Dicker back to the bench?), Greer will push El Abd to the bench, Sparrow will push one othe rmidfielder back and Ankeren will be back bench warming when Brez is fit. Suddenly the bench looks fine.

We've had an unusual, and unusually early, bout of injuries and suspensions and the squad has managed to get to seventh place. You can't seriously be suggesting that we need more (apart from a striker - and that would push perhaps Barnes back onto the bench).

Took that long did it? He's been on mine for a while. Wish people would stop quoting him though

Yep, I am fairly tolerant but as i've said before if I was at a party and got trapped in conversation with this sort of character I would soon find an excuse to move on.

I dont want, or need, to see his load of old bollocks on my screen.

That is an enormous number of midfielders we have. A bit like Tottenham, which i don't like to say. Just have to pick the right 4 or 5 though, to form that central, overpowering and nimble force.
With Lua Lua and Bennett out wide it's difficult to run a 4-4-2 in the conventional sense. I would expect two defensive midfielders to make that work, but Sparrow doesn't sound like he is that, and is being encouraged to get forward, so it could have to be a 4-3-3 or 4-5-1, with just Murray fully up front. I suppose with the workmanship of Bennett and tricksiness of Calderon a 4-4-2 might just work and be flaircentric, but it'd be a gamble and would have to rely on all parts working.
Hmmmm. I have no answers.

How you can make such comments on a player after 70 odd minutes? Alan Hansen did something similar a few years back with his " you cant win anything with kids comment" How did that one end up?

Why call them W@nk?

I dont know you and would not resort to calling you W@nk after the 70 odd shit posts of yours.
