That doesn't make sense. How are you trying to claim the moral high ground by not putting anyone on ignore? I choose to and you choose not to. We both still post on here so your claims of having more of a life are a bit weak.

No one as I skim over threads and can ignore someone myself unless it's important to the flow of thread or worth the drama for shits and giggles
For me to put someone on ignore they would have to really get on my tits. I don't see how anything on an internet messageboard could do that to me. This isn't really real is it.

And I'm not you so I have different reasons for putting them on ignore. I've seen enough of the posts from these posters to know that they just post drivel. I don't open threads started by them so plonking them on ignore is the next logical step.
The function is there, I choose to use it. What's the big deal?

Self-consciously and self-importantly, i ignore myself, disinterested in the piffle i may expel. Typically, i find a way through to the screen i write on and can't quite escape me. I long for the days of Total Recall when i have personality transmissions to other bodies and get reprogrammed to be a muscular, but dumb European spy with inflatable eyes. And have wisecracking robo-taxi-drivers take me about and mutants with fortunetelling blobs of baby on their guts.

I think selhurst and little ali are fine.I could almost like Palace on the odd ocassion.As selhurst said a little banter is good.

I watch Question time, and loads of Politicians spout drivel that I don't agree with, but I don't have the sound turned off when they speak.
It's important IMO to listen to all sides of an argument.
There are some on here who talk (IMO) a load of old crap, but it would be a very boring forum if we all agreed with each other.
