So far in pre season what we have learned so far is...
1) Our disciplinary record hasn't improved from last season.
2) We have signed a duff keeper yet again.
4) Have trouble winning games.
5) Can't keep clean sheets.
This could get worse when Aberdeen are in town.

In addition, and in order to address uncertainty over disciplinary sanctions in pre-season friendlies, sanctions for red cards shown in such fixtures will not now apply to competitive first team games. Any such sanction will apply only in the same competition (i.e. other friendlies including The FA Community Shield).
However, The FA retains the right to charge players in the most serious of misconduct cases and make sanctions applicable to competitive first-team fixtures if it is felt necessary.

I saw the date, I guess amendments are made on the first day of the season so this is still current until August 2010.I think the date is the giveaway!

My interpretation, for what it is worth, is that if Barnes was shown a red card the FA will take it up and ban him. If nobody was given a red card the club will get done heavily with a fine for not controlling the players. Fairly certain that as the game is played under the control of EUFA and FIFA the FA will act.
