Lennon or Walcott?

Who would YOU start on the right wing against USA?

Lennon for me, with Walcott as impact sub.

Walcott is possibly the fastest England player I've seen, but seems to have lost confidence in his ability to outpace defenders. Lennon to start, Walcott to come on as sub and frighten tired defenders like he did for Arsenal against Barca a couple of months ago.

I'd choose Lennon over Walcott, however, in the international game, I'd prefer to see Lennon come on with less than 30 mins left on the clock to sprint past the opposition with ease.

Milner would be in my midfield.

Can't remember many games that Lennon has started where he played well, but as a sub late in the game he seems to excel at frightening the life out of defenders.

So for me it would have to be Walcott to start with Lennon coming on late to replace him.

I genuinely can't decide. I would start with one of them and bring the other on as an impact. On his day Walcott is amazing, but I think of Lennon as a more consistant performer.

Walcott always seems a bit like a headless chicken to me, nowhere near enough end product for the pace he has.

Lennon for me, Not arsenal bias but if Walcott didnt play for arsenal he wouldnt get the "Wonderkid" tag.

Both can be inconsistant but Walcott has been pretty dire this year, where as Lennon is high on confidence and if he can get the form back from pre injury he is almost unplayable.

I'm a huge Walcott fan but I think Lennon has to get the nod. Walcott has a bigpart to play though

Wasn't that for his performances for Bolton?

Personally I would have liked to see Capello at least look at players like him and Rodwell rather than some of the spacewasters in the squad.

I think Walcott's potential if he learns to make better decisions and produce a better final ball is quite terrifying, but for the moment I would pick Lennon ahead of him. Walcott still has a key role to play as a sub though.
