Too much monkey business.

I think we should have been awarded he game 3-0. It could be a life-saver for Tranmere. Assuming that Gillingham win at Wycombe and Hartlepool could very well go down.

I thought it was perfectly fair.....if they cheated then you should get recompense....just cos we were shite that day is neither here nor there.

But they didn't cheat. Cheating involves a conscious decision to gain an unfair advantage, and there is zero evidence that Hartlepool were guilty of this. The club secretary made a balls up, we've all had bad days at the office.

What you are saying in a round about fashion is that ignorance and inefficiency are a defence agaginst a charge of breaking the rules.

It has now been mentioned that Liddle thought it was his 9th yellow and the total bookings information on the official FL website at the time showed this as well.

If Hartlepool have a site anything like NSC, there would have been posts during the game that he got booked, saying "that's his tenth - he's gonna miss the Brighton game".

And during the Brighton game, there would have been posts saying "surely he's suspended?".

Surely the club listen to the fans?

If Hartlepool have lost three points I ,for one, would like to know where those three points have gone ?

If they are sitting unused at the Football League may I suggest that they are immediately sent to Sheffield Wednesday and the Championship League altered accordingly.

A bit like me when I posted the Murray thread about his 3 red cards
On further investigation I was wrong :US:
