This sounds a great idea.
Lets hope it happens.
I'm taking my two boys, their first premiership ground, so anything to add to the occasion.

Firstly, i think this is a great idea.

Thirdly, are other inflatables a good idea? (I have a selection) (No dolls)

Heck, with that number on the pitch, we may have more chance of scoring!

I really, really want to vote NO, but the sad truth is currently we ARE a tinpot lower league outfit enjoying an all-too-rare day out. The clamour, binfests and excitement for tickets has confirmed that. So yeah, go for it.

And don't forget the same applies to the players. We may dream of one day returning to Villa Park in a bog-standard Premiership fixture ("*Yawn* Villa again, went there last year, it was shit.") but a lot of the players, being lower-league journeymen, know that this is one of the few times they'll have in their careers to strut their stuff on a big stage. Let's make it a day to remember for them as well.

My thoughts are, if you do it well it really works. If we can get 4,000+ balloons it will work REALLY well. Occasionally I waver on the side of balloons being a bit naff, but to be honest if we don't have the giant flag, don't do the shredded paper (and again LOADS of people have to do this, otherwise it looks pathetic), and don't do anything else, then why not?! The kids tend to love it, and it DOES create a spectacle. It also adds to the atmosphere when the teams run out. Personally I think the "No" voters are probably a bunch of killjoys
