One of the first acts of the Thatcher government was to introduce the primary-purpose rule.

One of the first acts of the Blair government was to abolish the rule.

Yes but as globalisation increases so does immigration as large parts of the third world are reduced to poverty and starvation. Both Labour and the Conservatives are supporters of globalisation. So I only see the tories paying lip service. They may reduce it but they will keep coming as they did under Thatcher.

Interesting, but any time a criticism of the BNP comes up, your defence of them is to name other parties - as if Labour doing something right or wrong means the same for the BNP. That's playground politics at its most puerile.

They're a shambolic reactionary party drip-fed by the ignorance and gullibility of certain parts of society. Anyone thinking they have a credible message that will benefit British society is, I'm afraid, also a sad victim of that same gullibility.

Pitiable.

So you never see Labour or Conservatives defending themselves by attacking each others policies do you.!

and again anyone who votes for either Labour or Conservatives. With what has happened to this country over the years is trully gullible. May be you should read Noam Chomsky's Manufacturing consent.

Oh dear.

Actually, I say from a position of being able to think for myself.

You should try it. And if you claim you already do, that would make you an even more alarming and dangerous person to have roaming free in the same postal district.

that's rubbish and you know it!! some people are fed up with the way their lives have been affected by the massive influx of ethnics into the country , why should we have to bend to their ways when they are in our counrty ,its an old arguement but it can't be ignored

How has your life - YOURS - been affected by this *cough* massive influx?

Do you have to have a prayer mat? Read the Qu'ran? Fast during Ramadan?

I'm genuinely curious as to what aspect of your society and environment has made you feel so alienated.

I don't know why the government has not picked up on "their welcome here message" On this board. Surely the answer to racial tensions in this country is to send them down to Brighton. :)

what do you think this cash will be spent on.

We are talking 100 areas, divide the cash evenly thats £120,000 per area,

exactly what i thought. £12m on one area might actually address issues, this is just a drop in the ocean to be seen to be doing somthing. Even then, if it was focused on white working class, wouldnt that sort of mean the BNP have won?

the cycnic will say that this will basically money for local anti-BNP publicity in marginal Labour seats, and i think the cynic would be onto somthing.

To be honest I don't care really. I just like to point out that anyone who supports the two major parties and slags off the BNP. Needs to take a good look at this country and what is happening to it.

Quite. The BNP for one.

As for the other two parties, what of them? They can attract their own scorn (as with ANY other party for that matter), but that would have little to do with the BNP? Indeed, defending the BNP by slagging off the other two is totally meaningless.

to many have already got into the country, so talk about tightening borders is all old hat ,the best way forward is to repatriate .

Careful, that post was more than a single line long, you must be having a nosebleed concentrating for that length of time.

Cov, your argument about supporting the BNP is that they 'couldn't do any worse than the existing parties'.

Surely the same could be said of the Respect Party, Greens, Socialist Workers or Monster Raving Loonies, each of whom have manifestos that fail the test of modern day finance and economics.

Eh no. They have been the ones in Power. They are the ones that have created the Social and economic problems in this country. I think the best form of defence is attack.
