I do not have much time for Charles generally but to give the impression that Diana did more for charity than he did/does is frankly ridiculous. His charitable causes are less photogenic but he seems to be more concerned with the environment, which at the end of the day will cause more death than aids and land mines put together of nothing is done.
So in conclusion, sighting any royals charity work as a reason why they are good person is bollocks they all do far more than the average person because they do not have to work and it is expected by the general public. They are effectively keeping their end of the bargain, we pay for their homes and lifestyle they give a higher profile to various charitable causes.

But she didn't start out as a Royal, or ask to be used as a beard by one.
Once in, she could have milked it - she had no obligation towards anyone and wasn't raised in Buckingham palace.
She chose to take up causes, and prince twat of wales can have his secretary do his charity for him while combining it with a nice safari.

Who cares, the sad thing is that those two lads lost there Mum. Beyond that she was just a person. None of the public knew her and the ridiculous out pouring form this country was nothing short of embarassing. Get over it, move on. She would not have given a crap if any of us had died.
