Hi all,

All those travelling to Huddersfield on Sat by car Huddersfield are advising to take junction 25 off the M62 rather than Junction 24 due to roadworks. They are also suggesting giving yourselves enough time to buy tickets and get through turnstiles due to the larger than expected Seagulls fans travelling.:ascarf:

or take the M1 J40 to Dewsbury, take the A638 through Dewsbury and through Mirfield and it brings you out by the Three Nuns Pub, take a left and follow the road for about two miles and the ground is on your left

Dont take the junction before this signposted Huddersfield as it takes you ages accross the moors.

Belive me its much quicker my way than even going on the M62

I've just looked at prices... the cheapest train ticket i could find was £103!!!!!!

Stick that right up your arse.

I'd rather drive and not drink.

I was coming off at Junction 38 joining on to the A637 then A642 then A629. Would Junction 40 be better???????

that is a long way around....I always use 40...even though you go through Dewsbury and Mirfield, its a better drive....38 is more scenic

Well, I've always used M1 Junction 38 to get to Cleckhuddersfax, and will continue to do so.

However, I will have Mr Apples with me & he might want to stop off at all the pubs on the way!!!

Oh fair enough, hasn't always been like that has it?

Can't remember it anyway on my last two visits.

That could be down to the fact that I paid for the tickets , son. ;)

 Which "larger" fans were you thinking of, specifically??? I hope Huddersfield have reserved wider seats for these people.
