First abuse for Knight

Heard quite a few Knight out shouts today in the latter part of the second half, and I am told he received some from the North Stand during the game and also at the final whistle.

Anyone see his reaction? Were the Blooms there today?

Isn't it time for Dick to get away from the heat and become President, and perhaps appoint a proper chief exec? Martin Perry would be ideal again but obviously he is full time oN Falmer. I am sure there are option to replace Dick Knight as the front man for the board. So all those who say who else, I think we obviously need someone but it could be a spokesman for the Blooms rather than the puppet, lost man that Dick Knight now appears to be.

Sacking a manager without lining one up days before the most important games of the season against Northampton and Crewe was just silly. Sacking Dean Wilkins because his ego was too big to stand Wilkins arguing with him was complete nuts, but having done so he should have stood by Adams for longer.

I would rather he stepped back now before he really suffers some abuse and ruins the respect we hold him in.

Of course your right but the blue rinse brigade will protect him until we are in the conference.I am furious that he got away with the crime of the century by sacking Wilkins and just because his ego couldn't take it and now the Albion are near crisis point.

There is only thing bigger than the club and that is Dick Knights ego it would seem. When is he really going to explain why he sacked Dean Wilkins. Would his ego allow him to bring Wilkins back and admit he made a mistake?

Fair do's Vulture.
I am doing my best to hold my tongue and have been for ages but the DK groupies keep put those same old tinted glasses back on - you know the ones that are 10 years old.
I am all for loyalty but everyone has their day and let's face it he seems to have peaked.

No matter what happens, Knight has every right in the world to walk out on our first game at Falmer as chairman of this football club. Unfortunately it might be in the conference but f*** it...Thanks Big Dick..enjoy.

Dick was only doing what it would appear most people on here actually want. I don't understand the backlash? They got what they wanted. Problem is that these muppets didn't think of plan B, which was obviously going to be Dean and Bob, until the new manager is unveiled. The next problem is who the f*** would want to manage a team that has probably the worst home fans (use the term fans loosely) in the league?

We are booing Dean and Bob and they are only caretakers waiting for the axe! This will really encourage the team, and further endear us to the new players that I bet are wondering what the f*** they wandered into.

Well done all of us.

Agree completely. It is very easy to criticise and abuse when someone or something is down. It's the lowest form of participation. But to come up with a solution and make things better? That would be impressive. So, Ernest et al., who's desperately waiting in the wings to come and run our club, chuck loads of money at a loss making enterprise, with no thanks whatsoever, and constant abuse from miserable gits with nothing better to do but complain?

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
I was sitting quite close by in the first half and I certainly didnt hear anything directed at Knight. Its pretty naive really if there is anything being directed at him, his only real failing is having two circus acts still involved at the club directing affairs.

If that short term pain is all we have to suffer then I think I can stomach it, I am led to believe that we are not in the position that 20 or so clubs are in, i.e. facing administration, no money, and worse still no hope of getting any money or goodwill from the banks who have just got fed up of provincial football clubs.

Why don't we just sack everyone to do with this club and then I think this board would be happy for a couple of days. SAKE :rant::rant:

Worst fans in the league? Oh, do shut the f*** up with all the melodrama. The booing only started after Christmas. There was no booing at Luton, Micky's last game and the board really don't give a flying f*** what a few people on NSC say about Micky.

It was the results that forced Micky to go. Oh, and the way we were playing. And the bizarre tactics. And the Virgo love-in. And the fact that he can't seem to spot a bench full of midfielders and plays Adam El-Abd in the middle instead. Or the hoofball.

We've been very very patient. Adams had to go. Any other chairman of any other club would hhave got shot of the manager who did what Adams did way before the middle of February.

It amazes me that some of you think Knight makes the decisions.

That is absolutely ridiculous, you knew no more about Knight then anyone else... so it was just a guess. And if for years on end you are guessing the same thing...it's bound to happen once! So get your head out your arse...

More worryingly is that you appear to be pleased that you're right which does beg questions...

Why oh WHY couldn't DK have done the decent thing, and kept us in League 2 for the past 12 seasons, so we could be like a proper football club, such as Rochdale, and have all the excitement that their supporters enjoy each season.

In the name of GOD go now DK.

Actually, why don't you shut the f*** up with your over reaction to some sensible comments? LBTP got it spot on as others have said - many many wanted Adams out and thought that would answer everything with scant regard for what happens next. Well we're in that period now, and it just shows how stupidly short-sighted those baying for MA's blood were. And I tend to agree that we currently have amongst the WORST HOME fans in any league. Those that aren't moaning, are usually just sat in silence. Hardly great encouragement. As East London Seagull said on another thread, we're more the 2nd yellow than the 12th man these days.
