XL Travel go bust leaving a £5m hole in their finances
Their chairman and major backer is a major shareholder in Landsbanki - Iceland's second largest bank that has been taken over by the Iceland Govt - so he's lost hundred's of millions of pounds
He also was a personal guarantor for XL Travel - and now owes £163m to cover their debts
Ruling on Carlos Tevez could cost them anything between £30 and £50m
Plus they are open to being sued by individual players from the teams that went down too.
Despite the official club responses, it is widely believed that he is still trying to sell West ham at a profit.
That is a club with some big problems.
