Why are there threads based upon TV shows, well figured females, tips on where to eat and countless amounts of top 10 this top 10 that threads?
Its very alarming that a club who's intrest is noticably dropping, has a fans forum which hardly ever debates anything to do with the club or any other!.
Instead we are reading complete garbage which you would expect from those Nuts, zoo,FHM etc magazines. The question is, if we want to encourage people to gain more intrest in the club while they cant actually watch the team, is a fans forum (which seems to be used more as a social utility) gonna attract more intrest to a club dying for intrest? No, It seems the word 'debate' is seen as a joke when certain users share an honest fair opinion, a debate to many users (including some Mods! ) is an opinion related to something non albion related!.

its shocking that this was once a forum that helped keep Albion alive!,

sort it out!

Scollobs.

There's tons of footie threads, there's crap threads, there's funny threads, there's serious threads, there's "can you help" threads. It's aim is to be a bit like a pub for Albion fans but online and without the booze (natcherly).

Excuse me for pointing out the bleedin' obvious but what exactly do you want to talk about and have you thought of starting a thread about it yourself?

Dunno about you but I have interests outside of footie and a forum that combines Albion, music and MILFs gets my vote.

Well if you do have an interest outside of football, why is it shared in a football fans forum?

Because we are all Albion fans, and this is where we feel free to talk about anything in the company of other like-minded people.

After all football is NOT the be all, and end all of our lives. It's important of course, but not the only thing we have!

I understand your views on the other thread, but I think this one is a bit wayward!

I accept why you come on here but i can't accept the shallow debates (eg peoples looks etc) should be on a site which can strongly encourage more and more younger and newer football fanatics to a very poorley supported team.
Now the internet has big impact on the younger generation ,surely if the forum was more albion related it could spark more debate and conversation about the albion (outside of NSC) between are future fans which would give a the younger fans more reason to see the albion.

Its a game of opinions not a discussion about what toothbrush works best!

To be fair it's really the club's job to bring in younger fans! Like-minded adults chatting amongst one another on t'internet cannot be blamed for not attracting younger fans to our club.

Imo there are plenty of threads to suit both sets of needs. You have threads about anything and everything, and threads about football. I like to post in both, and in fact very much enjoy some of the non-football threads on here. That's just me and others on here being social. But my main reason for joining this site was for the football, so of course I have time for that as well.
But posting on things other than football, does not offend me in the slightest, and I dont see why it should anyone really ???

Anyway, we can already see the youth coming through onto this website! If you look closely they talk MUCH more bollocks than we do on here!! (I won't name names :lolol:)

Tomorrow, I'm going to start some interesting, topical, and incisive debates about the albion:clap2:

"Michel v Sullivan - who's the BEST?"

"Out of 10, just how good is Michel Kuipers?"

"If Michel were a super hero, which super hero would he be and why?"

"If Michel could be any relation to you, which would you choose him to be?"

All coming to a screen near you!

Can I get it on pirate?

I can see a recurring theme here...

Lke I said before, I can Respect the fact that some users need NSC as their main form of socialising, but at the end of the day, it must be respected for its official use...FOOTBALL!,

There's too much abuse to certain individuals when any footy opinion is released, it seems that the forum has turned into another facebook, myspace etc where people go on it simply to talk crap which would put new users off using it.
Bullying, taunting, sexcism are all things being allowed to be read on this forum and this is what i think is a great shame to a once very well respected fans forum.

And I totally agree with you on that one. I think Badger inparticular has been unfairly singled out, and even banned in the past on here.

If we have an opinion on the club, the players or the management, then we should be allowed to air it on here!

Otherwise what is the point?

As much as it pains one to say it, Christal Mighty FC's message board cpfc.org is THE way to do it. Main forum for Palace related discussion, another one for non-Palace related football discussion, another for away fans and another for general/non sport discussion.

It would certainly cut down on the attention seeking bores on this site who post a thread when they've taken a piss, had breakfast, gone to the local shop, got back from the shop, thinking about taking another piss etc.

Unfortunately I don't think there's enough online interest in the Albion to make anything like the Palarse model viable, but having a main forum for Albion related discussion and another for off-topic discussion is surely doable, I mean there's a frickin forum for Big Brother on here ffs!

I believe certain mods should come under question!
