If we lose today are we out? Saw somewhere it will come down to run rate but don't really understand this. Does it mean Aussies could win and still go home?
Help please!

Not sure what would need to happen for the Aussies to win and still be out - I think we would have to absolutely spank them.
Team news England have made one change from the side that beat Zimbabwe yesterday - James Kirtley comes in for James Anderson. "Anderson's last Twenty20 outing against Australia brought figures of 4-0-64-0 at Sydney," says Gnasher, "so it's probably not a bad move." Kirtley has a mean yorker for the death overs too.
Are you sussex in disguise ?
we go thru regardless, unless Australia beat us by more than we beat Zimbadweeeeeee
may I had 'as top of the group' as well to that![]()
If the Auusies win today they will be through.
It's a Super 8 so we'll carry the result through against the other team through i.e. the loss to the Aussies

In theory, they could win and go out. If Australia have a negative run rate from this match of 1.1 or more, they'll be out whether they win or lose.
For example, the Aussies bat first and score 200 off their 20 overs, England are all out for 170 but only bat for 15 overs. Australia would have a run rate of -1.33 from the match and be out of the competition.
