It would be truly bizarre if UEFA didn’t ask for more information!! Surely that must have been one of the follow-up actions from the meeting a few weeks ago?

I’m not sure how that is a boost to their hopes, to be honest. By asking for further information several weeks later, says to me UEFA are having doubts.

I do think they'll get in, although the Drogheda expulsion does set a precedent and UEFA wouldn't want to be seen as acting discriminatly.

I guess it means that UEFA haven't definitely decided not to let them in and are still discussing it. Which is a 'boost' if you are starting from the point of 'no'.

Let's face it. UEFA are going to let them in. Probably no such luck for Drogheda - small and impecunious enough for UEFA to bully.

This is probably why UEFA are holding off announcing a palace decision. They don't want to give Drogheda the chance to ask awkward questions at CAS like "why are we out and palace aren't?"

We get it. You feel a certain way, others however have a small strand of hope. Why not use the ignore button if you don't like how others view the situation?

Whilst my view has shifted somewhat, and I now feel Palace will scrape into the Europa League, this is not done and dusted just yet.
