A lot of Mediterranean people appear to look older than their years, but they don’t age quickly either.

There definitely is. My friend runs three Omiros schools. They are a Greek family.
Irrespective of ‘requirement’ we met a father in Crete last year who was bemoaning his kids lack of Greek. At 16 his English was more colloquial than his native tongue!! The lad was besotted by English football, computer games and music. It was an extraordinary discussion… in perfect English!

1. I can’t see how he’s going to get the game time he needs to develop (unless he goes on loan which looks unlikely)
Say Ferguson and Pedro leave (looking pretty likely) and Welbeck gets the odd injury. On that basis, I think we'd see a lot of game time for him, considering the cups and all, also.

I thought Georginio put in an outstanding performance at No.9 vs Norwich last season. Amazing movement, strength and goals.

He'll surely be 2nd choice behind Welbz. We're then got about a dozen options behind him for the No.10 role!

18 years old £31 million 😳
I used to think like that.
Now I think “it’s not my money, just enjoy the ride”.
Welcome to Albion BABIS (is that what he calls himself? Hard to tell)

Babis if you are talking about him, but drop the s if talking to him.
My friend is called Dimitri. His nickname is Takis, but I would say, Yassou Taki.

Anything to highlight from his lengthy farewell post on Instagram? Or is it all fairly standard?
Fairly standard, the most important moments of his carreer,
He then thanks Marinakis first so that he won't end up in the bottom of a sea if he scores against NF. :D
Then his current coach Mendilibar
And every academy and coach he ever had.

I thought I saw Marinakis named

Looks like Olympiacos fans are happy he’s getting this opportunity - should mean a lot more Greeks at our home games!

Yes they are, personally I wish every young talent from Greece would leave the Greek League.
Since I moved to Germany and even before that I stopped following it as I had in the past.
Low quality and toxic, with more happening behind the scenes than in the pitch :D
