My wife's family are Greek Cypriots and live in a village near Limassol. Charalampous was the name of the bad tempered and workshy family donkey. Don't think it's significant.

They live in a village called Lania which is in the foothills of the mountains. Limassol has changed a lot in the 40 years I have been going there.I used to live in Limassol years ago now and worked on the construction of the beach front hotels.
Me and wife stayed at the Columbia beach hotel in Pissouri and ran off to Pathos to get married, then Nicosia to the American embassy and we then flew to America to get it ratified officially, don't ask.I used to live in Limassol years ago now and worked on the construction of the beach front hotels.
Just sayingI am absolutely delighted that you are nowhere near our transfer negotiation team.

João Pedro to Newcastle, done deal and here we go! Full agreement as Watford have now accepted final, official bid worth £25m fixed fee, £5m add-ons
When I first went to Pissouri in 86 there were no buildings between the main road and the sea just what had been a Turkish village on the hillside which was inhabited by Greek refugees from the North. A new village has been built by the beach since. I'm not sure it's quaint but it's a lovely spot though and worth a visit and a great place for a swim.Me and wife stayed at the Columbia beach hotel in Pissouri and ran off to Pathos to get married, then Nicosia to the American embassy and we then flew to America to get it ratified officially, don't ask.
Loved Pissouri village, but that was 2001 and I have heard it has all changed now, at the time I think it was just one hotel there, now it is built up allegedly with Russian money, is that true Justice.
Might go back for our 25th anniversary if still beautiful and quaint

This is a very good analysis (initial post and it continues in replies) :
Ah-ha, now I understand how you made your way to North Stand Chat.... the list of my other hobbies as well, fishing and fossil hunting)
I listened to that last night. The bit I didn't enjoy was when he spoke about the possibility of Mitoma going to Arsenal. There's a mini podcast profile off the signing via Albion Unlimited - why he didn't sign for Forest, all the other clubs that were interested, where is he likely to play/best position, his career so far, his character, why he's called Babis , other Greek prospects, and how he will hook up with Tzimas.
The guest is Greek journo ; Kostas Lianos.
